***Caroline's Point of View***

The wolf that was bounding towards us made me smile a little bit. He seemed so playful with what appeared to be a pair of shorts in his mouth yet his size gave off intimidating vibes as well. He slid to a stop in front of the group and before my eyes he turned into a man. He quickly put on the shorts and blushed slightly. Kale chuckled slightly while rolling his eyes. "Thank you so much for letting me come to the meeting!" He blurted out. "I am fixing to turn sixteen and I have been trying to convince Kale to let me be involved more and I was praying you would allow me to come." He babbled on before I could answer him. "It's my pleasure." I told him quickly before he started talking again. "If Kale trusts you then I trust you." I explained while shrugging my shoulders. Brandon nodded his head once and I could practically see the gratitude flowing off of him. He was tall for his age, but not quite as built muscular wise as Kale. He had brown hair but every now and again the sunlight would bring out some blonde streaks. His eyes are however what caught my attention. They were almost the exact shade of Allison's. The reminder of her made me cringe slightly, but I pushed it aside. I figured it was because he wasn't sixteen. If I remember from what my father told me once they turn sixteen they find their mate and their strength and senses grows.

We made our way to the tent for planning, but then William reminded me that I had destroyed that tent so we went to my tent. On our walk there we had stopped at the old tent to get the maps and everything we would need for planning. "So when do you turn sixteen?" I asked Brandon for the sake of having a conversation. His eyes lit up at this topic. "I will be sixteen in two days!" his voice held so much joy it surprised me. I guess this mate thing really is a big deal. "Yep, then my little Branny will find his mate and he will finally be able to be trained for his position." Kale announced from behind us. "Branny?" I asked confused. Brandon's ears turned red and Kale blushed. "It's an annoying nickname he calls me when he wants to bother me." Brandon grumbled making all of us laugh lightly.

We reached the tent shortly after that and to my displeasure I got curious stares the entire time. Every person we passed gawked at me. I mean I know wings are a strange thing, but come on people. I kept knocking into people with my wings and William wasn't missing the chance to tease me about it. "I'm not used to having them." I snapped at him when he asked if I wanted him to 'wing proof' this tent since I destroyed the other one. Everyone just laughed causing me shoot them all death glares. I will get used to using these stupid wings sooner or later. "Why do I even have these things? They weren't in the not rhyming foretelling?" I accuse towards my father and Kale since they knew about the real foretelling. All of them chuckled again which was just making my frustration grow. "When are you going to let that go?" William asked. "I'm not. Foretelling's are supposed to rhyme and this one doesn't." I exclaimed while throwing my hands in the air. "They don't have to rhyme sweet heart." My father tried to explain.

"I don't want to talk about this anymore. It's not fair when you all gang up on me. I'm especially angry with you, Elizabeth." I huffed. "Why me?" she squeaked in shock. "You are the only other girl and therefore you have a duty to be on my side." I explained simply earning several snorts that I chose to ignore. Elizabeth shot her gaze from me to William several times and finally stayed on me with an apologetic stare. "Ugh. Traitor" I groan out while William smugly smirks. "Don't get to cocky Willy, I only chose your side because you're hot." Elizabeth admitted off handly, causing us all to laugh while William's jaw dropped. He recovered quickly though and retorted back, "Well she's right." I chose not to argue about this anymore and decided it was time to get back to business.

"Alright so you have one hundred warriors correct?" I ask Kale once I had finally settled into a comfort position with my wings. "Yes as well as their mates who can also fight as well." Kale answered. "Ok would they be willing to separate during the battle?" I asked not one hundred percent confident in my werewolf knowledge of mates. "That will be fine." He answered with a smile. I sensed that he was pleased I was taking the time to make sure his people were treated fairly and not just used as toy soldiers. "Great. Ok so this is the plan then. We will take eighty of your warriors along with us to the actual battle and disperse them evenly among the layout. The other twenty and the women will stay and guard our children and elderly along with some of our women fighters." I explain pausing a second to receive a nod from Kale. "Whats the actual plan?" My father asked earning a smirk from me. "I'm going to surrender myself to the king." I say simply and watch the color drain from my father's face. Brandon who had been quiet this entire time whispered out one word that caused me to laugh. "Badass."
