"I still don't have any updates, Yvan. You haven't given me more informations other than the place where it happened."

I blow a deep breath before I rested my back on the chair. I tossed the paper that I was holding on Shyn's table and massaged my temple as I closed my eyes.

"How are you these days by the way?," she asked. Saglit ko siyang tiningnan at kaagad din na umiwas.

"I'm fine," I answered. Narinig ko ang pagbuntong-hininga ni Shyn kaya't napalingon ako sa kanya.

"Is it getting worse?," she looked at me worriedly. I was caught off guard by her sudden question as so I stilled and wasn't able to answer her. Nang matauhan ay tumango ako sa kanya bilang sagot.

"The medicines aren't helping anymore. Masama sa akin kung iinom ako nito ng mas matagal," sagot ko sa kanya.

It is true that taking sedatives for a long time can be harmful. It can cause addiction as my body will depend on it. It is frustrating thus my remaining choice is to undergo a treatment.

"May doctor ka na ba para sa therapy mo?," she asked. I shook my head at her.

"Seraphine haven't called me yet. I'll be expecting it for the next three days."

Hindi ko alam kung bakit hindi pa ako tinatawagan ni Seraphine. She assured me that she'll find a good doctor for me. After I told her that I wanted a man doctor she didn't hesitated to help me—rest assured that the doctor can be trusted. I trust her so I believe in her.

Hinahanda ko na ang sarili ko para sa susunod na mga araw. I don't know if I made a right decision to have a man doctor rather than a woman. I fear men so it's quite absurd and doesn't make any sense. But I believe in face your fears. I kind of believe in it late but this time will still do.

"I'll get going," paalam ko kay Shyn at agad na tumayo. I kissed her on her cheeks before I bid my goodbye and stepped out from her office. I walked my way out to her house and went inside the backseat of my car when my driver opened the door.

"Where to Sir?," she asked.

"House, Tiffany," I answered her. She nodded at me and started the engine. Tahimik ako sa buong byahe. Nakasandal lamang ang ulo ko sa headrest ng kotse at bahagyang nakabukaka ang mga hita habang komportableng nakalagay doon ang dalawang kamay ko.

I tilted my head and looked at the outside. The car stopped due to traffic so I closed my eyes for a bit. Hindi ako nakikita ng nasa labas dahil tinted ang sasakyan kaya't hindi problema sa akin ang matulog habang nasa kalagitnaan ng traffic.

"Tiffany, buy some ice cream for me," utos ko sa kanya habang nakapikit.

"Same flavor Sir?," she asked.

"Yes. Thank you."

Natahimik ulit ang kotse habang nakapikit ang mata ko at naramdaman ko na ang pag-andar ng sasakyan. I am not completely in deep slumber. Pinapahinga ko lang ang mga mata ko, I'm still aware of my surroundings.

Ilang minuto ang lumipas at naramdaman ko ang paghinto ng sasakyan. Hindi ko na binuksan ang mga mata ko nang tahimik na lumabas si Tiffany at narinig ko ang pagsarado ng pinto. I remained my eyes close as I waited for her to comeback. Ilang sandali ang lumipas at narinig ko ang pagbukas ng pinto. Dahil sa pag-aakala na si Tiffany iyon ay hindi ako nagmulat ng mata. Ngunit laking gulat ko nalang nang maramdaman na may tumabi sa akin at may mabangong amoy ang kumalat sa loob ng kotse ko.

To be specific it's a scent of a man!

Mabilis pa sa alas-kwatro akong nagmulat ng mata at napalingon ako sa aking gilid. My eyes widened and I flinched when I saw a man sitting beside me catching his breath.
