I'm laying on my bed Looking up at the ceiling As I listen to my family getting it on with their mates Thanks to FUCKING! Vampire hearing I would rather not listen But I can't help it Just like I can't help Hearing animals crack on leaves outside or the wind blowing in the trees...I love my family I really do but ever since they found their meats they have been nothing but a pain in my ass All they Do is cuddle everywhere And calling each other pet means and flirt with each other And every time I see or hear them I can't help the jealousy that Gets in to me Yes I Tanya denali Leader of the Denali coven Am jealous that I don't have my mate Don't get me wrong I love that my family Has their mates and they don't have to be alone like I am BUT! They don't have to constantly rub it in my face every single day-and-night I know  They're not doing it on purpose But still I can't help feeling this way

I jumped up of my bed and run downstairs Into the living Room in vampire speed To be met with my family who already there With the same look of confusion I have

"Tanya! What's going on how is there a girl up here And who the Hell is she calling?" Kate asked Is she hugged up to Garrtt Her mate

"I don't know!..But if she's this for up the mountain something's wrong" I said  Looking from one to the other

"We need to go see who she is and what she's doing here and why she's Yelling!" I said

"Not really but If we don't do something she could freeze" I said Is I started walking towards the door I open the door and walk out with my family behind me

"Alfred. Alfred Come back here right now" The girl yelled as she started running towards the house chasing after a dog That appears to be a white husky

I take my eyes off the dog and look at the girl and I immediately Get hit with this unusual feeling that I never felt before it's like a stream is around my heart pulling me towards her  All of a sudden I feel Protective over this girl She looks to be taller than me I am 5'5"  She looks to be 5'7" She's wearing a beautiful outfit That Fits her in every way

She is covered in snow and shivering as she's running She's also a little dirty " Alfred boy please come here" She said in the Sweetest softest voice I have ever heard I take my eyes away from her body and look at her face and oh my God she's gorgeous Her cheeks Are a bright pink  Her lips Are a little Gray That's probably cause because she's cold and Her hair Is rainbow

I try to look at her eyes but she spokest on the dog and I can't get a good look I have to look at her eyes to look in when I don't know why but I just do

As she gets closer I start smelling the sweetest smell I have ever smelled in my entire life and I must have it but for some reason I don't feel the urge to kill The smell I have the urge to love and Protect it

"Um Tanya you Ok?" Kate asked

"I don't know Kate I Feel weird something about this girl I-"  I was saying but was cut off by the girl finally coming out of the woods behind her dog is she chased in

"Alfred Alfred please" she yelled As she ran after

The dog ran up to me and stops right in front of me And looked up at me with his tongue hanging out and breathing heavily Which is odd because animals don't Usually like Vampires

"I'm!..I'm so sorry A-about him..I-I promise he doesn't..bite!" The girl said while trying to catch her breath as she got in front of me and my Family once she does I'm Hit with the smell again but this time the strongest

I start looking around trying to figure out where it's coming from and then I look to the girl and revise It's her! She's the smell The girl looks up from the ground and locks eyes with me And I  Feel nothing but love towards this girl I have to protect her to be by her side to be with her to love her And be the only one she loves WAIT Why do I feel this way WAIT NO don't tell me she's my mate She's my other half but she can't be she's well she's A SHE I don't like girls that way I've only ever been attracted mean how can I have a girl for a Mate I mean I know that we don't choose our mates But still I always thought my mate would be a Man that's all I'd ever been with our men I know nothing about being with a woman

"What are you doing all the way up here child?" Carmen asked The girl unlock Our eyes and looked to Carmen

"I got lost Ma'am I was taking my dog for A walk next thing I knew he got off his leash and started running I don't know how long I've been chasing him for All I know is my phone's dead I'm lost and now I'm talking to strangers can you please help me I mean you have no reason to but please I need to call my sister and let her know I'm OK and asked her if she can come And pick me up and I'm so sorry to bother you" she said

"Of course we will help you come inside You can even bring your dog In You too can get warmed up while you call for your sister" I said
