Flashback

Arabella stood, holding hand's with her new found friend Katerina Petrova; because Arabella had tried to run away from her sibling's wrath.

"Khaide Katerina, samo malko poveche," (Come on Katerina, just a bit more.) Arabella said gently in Bulgarian.

Katerina's cries filled the room, and soon a baby's cry did too.

"Momiche," The mother of Katerina said, cradling the baby. (Girl)

"Momiche? Ugodi na maika," Katerina pleaded. (Girl? Please mother).

"Momiche, Katerina. Tova e chudesno!" (A girl, Katerina. This is exciting!) Arabella said softy, squeezing Katerina's hand. Arabella had always wanted a baby. When her father killed her and her baby, she was heartbroken.

"Zhena, ne go pravyat!" (Woman, don't) Katerina's father snapped. Arabella glanced at the cruel man in hatred. He reminded her of her father.

"Neka pone da ya pregume vednuzh," (Let me at least hold her once.) Katerina begged. Arabella looked down at the young woman sympathetically.

Katerina's father was a tough man. He disgraced Katerina, causing her and Arabella to flee to England. Arabella wasn't going to let a young and innocent girl go off on her own, so she decided she would join Katerina.

Katerina started crying for the loss of her child, and for her family. Arabella couldn't help but be jealous, because unlike Katerina, her baby would never see the light of day.

Flashback over

Arabella shook her head. Katerina was a friend of hers back then, and she had hated seeing an innocent child in so much pain.

She knocked on the Salvatore door, waiting for one of the brother's to show up. Unfortunately, it was Damon.

"Bella," Damon smirked at her. "Come back for more?"

Bella rolled her eyes. "I am in need for housing. This is the only place I know of."

"Well, you'll have to pay," Damon remarked.

"Pity, guess I'll go shack up somewhere else with someone else," Arabella declared him and began walking away. She knew Damon would come back, and he did.

"Fine. Free of rent, only because I'm nice and I happen to like you," Damon grumbled.

Arabella smirked at the look of Damon's face. Being kind was hardly the case for Damon, and Arabella noticed. He didn't want her in the hands of someone else.

"Thank you," she smiled and walked into the boarding house. Arabella happened to walk into a mini-meeting between the Salvatores, Elena, and Rosemarie. She couldn't help but let out a slight groan when she saw Rose's face.

"Why is she here?" Arabella asked Damon.

"I want to talk." Rose said.

"Well, sit down. You can make sure this information is correct," Elena said to Arabella. The strawberry-blonde took a seat, her eyes trained on Rose. Bella half-smiled at Elena. She had to become friendly with Elena to uphold her deal with Elijah.

"Okay. You have to understand I only know what I've picked up over the years," Rose started off. "I don't know what's true and what's not but I guess Arabella can say on that."

"Bella," she corrected.

"But Klaus, I know is real." Rose continued, ignoring the strawberry-blonde.

Bella groaned at the name. "He's real. A bloody menace that one is."

"Who is he?" Elena asked.

"You really don't want to know," Bella muttered.

"One of the orginals. He's a legend," Damon stated.

"Hardly," Arabella muttered to herself.

"Elijah is the Easter Bunny compared to Klaus," Rose said and Bella laughed at that. "He was a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal."

Bella scrunched her nose. "He's no 'deal.' He's an ass."

"Klaus is known to be the oldest." Stefan added to the information Rose was telling.

"Okay, so you're saying that the oldest vampire in the history of time is coming after me?" Elena questioned in shock. The doppelgänger didn't like those odds.

"Basically."

"Yes."

"No."

Bella rolled her eyes. Rose and her were on the same page, yet Stefan was delusional.

"Stefan, Niklaus is coming after her to break the hy - sun and moon curse. Accept it, that when the time comes your darling Elena is going to die in a brutal sacrifice," Bella stated.

"Die?" Elena inquired with a sliver of fear in her voice.

"Yes love, die," Arabella confirmed with a nod of her head.

"What they're saying is that if what the two said was true--"

"Which it is," interrupted Arabella.

"And you're not just saying it so we don't kill you--"

"Which I'm not," Rose said, glaring at Damon.

"Then we're looking at a solid...maybe," Damon finished.

Arabella groaned. "No, it is a solid yes. When word finds out that there is a human doppelgänger out and about - which people will - then Niklaus is going to come and kill you. Case closed, Damon - better say your goodbyes before Elena dies," said Arabella, causing both Stefan and Damon to glare at her while Elena looked lost.

"Look, Elijah's dead, right?" Stefan said, ignoring Arabella's very true words.

Wrong.

"So, no one else knows you exist," Stefan remarked.

Nah, Elijah likes to gossip.

"Not that you know of," Rose said pointedly.

"That's not helping," Damon snapped.

"Well Damon, she could be right. Either someone said word or someone saw Elena, people could find out," Arabella declared.

"Well, I killed Elijah," Damon remarked confidently.

"Darling, how sure are you about that?" Arabella questioned him.

"Wait, is Elijah alive?" Stefan inquired.

Arabella covered her mouth and shrugged. An innocent look plastered over her face.

The Salvatores looked at her expectantly. Arabella sighed, "There could be a possibility Elijah's alive, you two have to figure out though because I'm too busy."

"Look, Klaus is real. He might come to snatch Elena." Rose said.

"Look, Klaus may not be real." Stefan said.

"Oh darling he's real. He's strong and determined to break this curse."

Elena nodded and got up.

"Where you going?" Arabella questioned.

"School, I'm late," Elena replied.

"Oh, I need to apply so I'll come with," Arabella stated, standing up.

"Since when do you like school?" Damon asked.

"Since now," Arabella replied and left with Elena.

Damon knew there was something up with his former love, he couldn't just figure it out yet.
