Thank you so much for helping me set up the books and get the handouts ready. You know you're my favorite sister, right?"
I handed my sister, Cassie, a soda from the faculty lounge. She snatched it from my hands and plopped down in my chair, putting her feet up on the desk.
"I'm your only sister, asshole," she retorted while taking a huge gulp from the can.
"But you're my favorite only sister. See, if I had another only sister, she wouldn't be my favorite."
Cassie shook her head and smiled. "I would say that you're my favorite brother, but Lance did offer me lunch after I helped him in his class."
I smacked her legs off my desk and grabbed my soda, popping it open and taking a long drink.
"Oh, I can't have your second favorite brother trying to show me up. Grab your things and let's get something to eat."
"Did someone mention food?" Lance piped in, while walking through the door before leaning against the wall.
