It had been a couple of days since thanksgiving and everyone was now back in LA. Ava was currently in the studio with Kat, doing more with her music. They already had the plan to have a song released for Ava at the start of 2020. The lyrics were already written out, it was just composing the music to go behind it all. They had at least half of the song done now but there was still a lot of work to go.

"How long till lunch?" Ava asked, chuckling slightly as she felt her stomach rumble. Katrina laughed and checked her phone.

"15 minutes, I told you Sam and Colby were meeting us right?" She answered. Ava shook her head no but shrugged her shoulders anyways.

"I'm cool with that" she brushed off.

Her and Colby had made amends back in London so things between them were perfectly fine. He also sorted things out with Crawford and the two got along again, making things a whole lot easier for Ava.

The two girls wrapped up for lunch and left the studio to meet the two boys in the lobby. They were sat on one of the sofa's, scrolling through their phones as they waited for the two girls to meet them.

"Hey losers, get up" Ava told them bluntly, wanting to hurry up and go get food. Both their heads snapped up as they heard her speak and they immediately shoved their phones in their pockets as they stood up.

Sam greeted Kat immediately and Colby and Ava did a hand shake thing they made up a while ago.

"Let's get food, I'm starving" she told her friends, heading for the exit of the building. They all laughed and followed behind her.

"Where are we going?" Sam asked curiously, knowing Ava would be the one to decide.

Ava thought for a moment.

"McDonald's, I'm craving it" she told him, continuing to walk down the streets of LA.

"Yo me too!" Katrina gassed up, high fiving Ava as laughter fell between them.

"Looks like theres no choice but to go to McDonald's bro" Colby muttered to his best friend, smiling at the same time. Sam playfully rolled his eyes but agreed McDonald's was fine by him.

After about ten minutes of walking, they got to a McDonald's and headed inside. It wasn't overly busy, so they managed to order their food straight away and be seated within 5-10 minutes after.

They sat in a little booth in the corner and started eating their foods.

"I need this" Ava muttered, covering her hand over her mouth as she spoke.

They all laughed and nodded in agreement.

"McDonald's is the best" Colby agreed.

"So how's the song coming along?" Sam asked the girls curiously. Ava started beaming, feeling proud of herself.

"Great!" She exclaimed. Kat laughed and nodded.

"Yeah it's coming along really well. It's gonna be a good song" she agreed, grinning at the girl beside her.

"When do we get to hear it?" Colby asked, feeling eager to hear the song.

"Not until it's done" Ava told him.

"Which is when?"

"Soon"

As if on cue, Ava's phone beeped. She pulled it out of her pocket to see it was Crawford who had texted her.

Crawford- hey babe. Meet me at the lake at 4pm x

Ava- okis x

She smiled down at her phone as she replied to him and looked back up at her friends who were waiting for her to explain.
