Today was December 23rd, the day Ava and Crawford were going to Canada for a few days for Christmas. Crawford was buzzing to see his family again, it had been a while since he had seen them all. The couple were meeting his brother, Chris, at the airport as he was currently in LA also, he had just been super busy the past few months that he couldn't spend time with them much.

Ava had spent the night at Crawford's apartment, it was just the two of them as Oscar had already gone back home to see his family. The couple got in an Uber and headed for LAX.

When they got to the airport, Chris was already waiting for them by the entrance. Crawford immediately hugged his brother tightly, a huge smile swept across his face. Chris grinned brightly also before greeting Ava with a hug. It had been a long time since they both saw each other, but Chris was happy his brother was happy again, especially with Ava.

"Hey, how are you!" Chris chirped excitedly, grinning down at Ava as he released her from the hug.

"I'm amazing! How are you?" She grinned at him as she remained stood beside Crawford.

"I'm great. You guys ready to go home?" He asked them, smiling widely.

"Let's go baby!" Crawford cheered before the three of them headed inside the airport, dragging their suitcases behind them.

They got checked in and got rid of their bags at baggage claim before heading over to the McDonald's to grab something to eat seeing as they had a little bit of time before their flight was boarding.

Chris started ordering his food and Ava was next in line, however before the worker called her over, Crawford stood beside her and said

"Don't worry I got this, what do you want? Usual?" He smirked, looking down at her.

"How romantic" she teased.

"But yes please" she laughed, agreeing to having her usual order.

He smiled down at her and pecked her lips before stepping forwards and ordering their food. Once they had been given their food, the three of them sat down and ate before heading back to their terminal and awaiting to terminate the plane.

Once they boarded, they were sat seated in a three and Ava unluckily was seated in the middle, Crawford was to her left next to the window and Chris was on her right next to the aisle. It was u lucky, because the two boys done nothing but mess about, bicker and sleep on her shoulders for the whole journey.

After a couple of hours they had landed in Canada and headed through the airport. They picked up their bags and headed outside to where their Uber would be waiting for them. They were stopped by a few fans along the way who insisted on having photos with them, and the whole time, Crawford didn't let go of Ava's hand.

They got in the Uber and headed to the Collins Family Home where the rest of the family were awaiting for them. When they pulled up on the drive way, their mom immediately opened the door, eager to hug her two boys again for the first time in a long time.

"Hi mom!" Crawford grinned, wrapping his arms around his mother, smiling from ear to ear. Chris was next to hug her, swaying side to side slightly as he held her.

Once Chris let go of her, she made eye contact with Ava and beamed.

"Ava sweetie. It's wonderful to see you again" she chimed, embracing Ava in a hug.

"You too Mrs Collins, thank you so much for having me again this Christmas" she told her politely.

"Oh hun please, you're always welcome! And you know you can call me Stacey" she chuckled lightly.

"Sorry" Ava laughed.

"Come on in!" Stacey told the three of them. Crawford placed his hand on Ava's lower back as he guided her inside, their suitcases to hand also.

They left their suitcases in the hall and they followed behind Stacey and Chris as they headed to the living room where their dad, Kirsten and Karisma were.

The room filled with hugs and hellos as they all greeted each other, Ava, Kirsten and Karisma all squealed in excitement as they greeted one another, excited to be seeing each other once again.

"We NEED a major girls talk!" Kirsten exaggerated to the two girls, earning eager nods in response.

"Not tonight though, she's mine tonight" Crawford claimed, coming up behind Ava and wrapping his arms around her waist as he placed a kiss on her on cheek.

"How so?" Ava laughed.

"I want to chill" he complained, earning laughs from the girls in response.

"Okay you can both chill tonight but tomorrow it's Christmas eve and you're spending the day with us, okay?" Stacey Warned her son, seeing as he was the one complaining.

"Deal. Let's go" he agreed, grabbing Ava's hand and heading up to his old room, suitcases to hand.

They left their suitcases by the door and he closed the door behind them.

"Well, it's been a while since I've been here" Ava chuckled softly, looking around the familiar room. Crawford smiled and hugged her tightly.

"Why are you in such a good mood" Ava laughed, hugging him back.

"I'm just super happy to be back with my family again, and I'm glad you're here with me too" he told her gently, resting his chin on the top of her head as she rested it on his chest.

Ava remained silent. She felt happy to be with his family for Christmas, but she hadn't spent a Christmas with hers in three years now. It felt shit.

"You okay?" Crawford asked her, noticing she remained quiet.

"Yeah, it's just, a part of me wishes I was with my family too you know? I haven't spent Christmas with them in three years now" she shrugged, letting go of the hug. Even though amends were made with her family, things would never be the same again.

"I get that. But you're also apart of my family now. You always will be. And as my mom said, you're welcome anytime" he told her softly, stepping towards her before placing a long kiss on her lips.
