chapter 16

MARK'S POV

i carried yuna to the nearest bench and sat her down. i saw her wiping my tears away as i crouched and put my mask down. seeing her like this hurts me.

"tell me if anything hurts" i asked her. "n-nothing hurts"

"are you sure?" she nodded. i sighed i grabbed my phone from my pocket.

i put my phone back and looked at yuna who was still wiping her tears. "do you want me to get you anything?" she shook her head. i stood up and hugged her.

"i'm sorry i let this happen to you again" i whispered to her

"it's okay, this was my fault for being such a slut"

i put my hands over her shoulders. "hey. you're not a slut" she just bit her lip and ndoded slowly.

i saw youngjae coming here. i felt my blood boil seeing him. i let go of yuna and went to him.

"youngjae! where were you?! why did you leave yuna alone?!" i tried not making a scene but seeing that he was the reason on why yuna was hurt angered me.

"i-i was buying us snacks hyung!"

"why didn't you just asked her to come?!"

"s-she said she was fine there and-" i grabbed him by his collar. "you still should've just stayed with her!"

i felt someone back us up. "calm down guys!" jaebeom was separating us both.

"calm down hyung, what happened?" jinyoung asked. "yuna is hurt because youngjae left her by herself! her classmate hurt her for the second time!" i tried to contain my anger as we were still in public.

"i didn't want her get hurt! it's not like i wanted to leave her alone!" youngjae shouted back which angered me more.

"i shouldn't have left her alone with you!" i tried to get away from jackson who was holding me back.

"will you guys stop fighting! were still in public you know?!" jaebeom shouted and we stopped. "we're sorry!" jaebeom bowed to the people who were looking at us.

"let's talk about this later in the dorm"

i looked back at yuna and saw that she wasn't there anymore. i searched around and found her in a line at the ferris wheel. "let's ride this" before i could answer i got pulled inside on of the seats.

it was quiet in here. the ferris wheel started to spin slowly. i looked at yuna who was looking at the view. i exhaled and cleared my thoughts as i slowly approached her.

"did you have fun today?" i asked and went next to her.

"yeah but not really.."

"can we still hang out with you?"

"yeah why not?"

"we might not visit you as often since we have schedules tomorrow and you have school" we were at the highest point of the ferris wheel.

"i'll find time to hang out with you" i looked at my schedule from my phone. "what? no you should focus on your schedule"

the ferris wheel went on a few more minutes. "you should make up with youngjae" i heard her mutter.

"i'm just upset he left you alone there."

"i told him that i'll stay there so it's still my fault" i sighed. the ferris wheel stopped and we left the seats. it was already 9pm. i grabbed my phone as it was vibrating.

i put my my phone away. "c'mon they're looking for us" i grabbed her hand and went to the store.

YUNA'S POV

i felt guilty when i saw mark and youngjae had a fight so i went to the ferris wheel so he can maybe calm down which i guess worked. when we arrived at the store i saw everyone there. they were sitting down and eating but i saw youngjae who was kinda down.

"hey.. what flavor do you want?" mark asked. "i don't know maybe vanilla" he nodded and went to the counter. i sat down beside yugyeom with one available seat next to me. youngjae stood up and went to the bathroom.

"hey uh guys sorry i caused so much trouble"

"huh? none if this is your fault yuna" jaebeom looked at me from his seat.

"we'll take you home after this, it's getting late and you have school tomorrow" jinyoung said.

"don't worry we'll talk about this at the dorm, i promise we'll resolve this" jackson added and smiled. youngjae came back and sat down in his seat and had his head on the table as yugyeom caressed his back.

mark came back with my ice cream and sat down next to me. "thanks.." i thanked and grabbed it from him. he got himself chocolate.

time skip

we were going back to the van now. it was already 9:30 and the wind was pretty cold. i sat in my seat before and same with everyone else. it was obvious that youngjae was down.

"youngjae-ah are you okay?" i asked. "yeah i'm okay don't worry about me" he faked a smile. the van started to move.

the ride didn't take as long cuz there was no traffic. "just go right there and my house should be there" i instructed.

they all went down and i grabbed my keys from my bag. i went in my house and saw that it was a little messy. they all went in my and viewed around.

"sorry if it's a bit messy" i apologized and put my bag down and tried to clean some stuff.

"no it's okay we have to leave now too"

"thank you so much for hanging out with us yuna! we had so much fun! i hope we can still hang out after this" yugyeom said.

"of course! i had fun" they all started to leave when i remembered something. "mark, wait!" i stopped and he looked back.

i was gonna give him his jacket back when he stop it. "you should keep it, to have something remember me" he winked at me.

"goodnight yuna-ah, thanks for hanging out with us" he thanked and smiled at me.

i was shocked when he kissed my forhead. i couldn't move. i felt my heart pounding hard in my chest. i heard him laughed lightly and left. i shook my head and waved at them before they left.

i closed my door and touched my forhead. my heart kept beating super fast. i exhaled and decided to wash up so i can finally sleep.

a/n: this chapter is also all over the place cuz i'm having minor author's block. i can't seem to write how i want it to be expressed and that's the most difficult thing for me. i want to finish this book cuz i genuinely love mark and the rest of got7
