Ava's POV

"So, Ava, what brings you here?"

I turned my eyes away from his curious gaze and handed out the file Mr. Hunt had given me.
"I am here in place of Mr. Hunt. He truly apologizes for not being here today himself. He had some urgent business to attend to."
He took the file from my hand, opened it and glanced through the papers. He smirked for some unknown reason.

"I hope you don't mind, Mr. King."

"It's alright, Ava. I am glad that we met again." He said staring intensely in my eyes.

"Mr. Hunt is throwing a huge party at our place this Saturday evening. He has invited you. In fact, he insisted for you to come." I informed him like I was supposed to.
He raised his eyebrows curiously and took a minute to think about the invitation.

"Sure, I would attend the party. Let him know." He said narrowing his eyes at me. He looks very serious.

What's up with the sudden mood change? God, this man is unpredictable.

"I would take your leave now, Mr. King." I said getting up from the chair. He extended his hand towards me.

"It was a pleasure meeting you, Ava."
He said smirking.

"Likewise."

As soon as our hands touched, I felt crazy tingles run throughout my body. I shivered at his touch.
Turning around, I left his office without glancing back.
I took quick steps towards the elevator and let a sigh of relief as soon as I was alone.

That felt so intense! But that guy is nothing less than a Greek god. He personality was so intimidating. Bad-boy alert babe! Run away as far as you can. He perfectly fits the description from books I've read online.

Wilson was waiting for me outside the building. I needed some coffee to calm my nerves.
"Take me to the nearest Starbucks please." He just nodded.

I was hit by the strong aroma of coffee as soon as I stepped inside Starbucks. I had been to Starbucks only with Martha, when we needed a short break during our shopping sessions. Today, I was alone, which felt really weird and free.

Free? Don't kid yourself Ava. His bodyguards had obviously followed you here. Or else Wilson wouldn't let you in here alone.

I glanced around nervously. But since it was crowded, I decided to let it go. I took my Vanilla Latte and turned around just to be bumped by someone. My latte spilt all over me and the floor.

"Oh. My. God. I am so soryy, girl. I really didn't mean to."

"Gosh, you're so clumsy, Nik!"
I looked up to see two girls. They completely looked like each other except the hair.

Twins! And very gorgeous ones!

"It was totally your fault! You pushed me and stumbled into her!" The blonde one complained.

"Why do you have to blame me for everything?!" said the brunette one.
I glanced around the place. People were looking at all three of us and the girls just continued bickering.

"Guys." I tried to stop them.

"Guys!" I tried a little louder this time.
They both stopped and quickly turned their heads towards me.

"It's alright. You both shouldn't fight. You've kinda made a scene over here. People are staring at us." I said smiling at them.

"It's not alright. I ruined your outfit!" The blonde one said with worry in here eyes.

"And spilt your coffee. Let us make it right." The brunette glared at her sister.

"No need for that. I was heading home anyway." I tried to convince them.

"Nobody refuses us. You have to come with us to our place. We will get you another outfit."

To their place? Another outfit?!!

"There is no need for that." I panicked a little.
They both looked at me with puppy eyes.

Ohmygod! How would anybody not melt at that?

I sighed, defeated.

"Ma'am, you are not allowed to go anywhere with strangers." One of the bodyguards jumped into the conversation out of nowhere.

I fucking knew it! They were following me!

"Who are you?"

"This isn't any of your business." The twins seethed at the guy. I literally felt sorry for him for a moment there.

"Ma'am." He urged me, ignoring them.
I looked at the girls with an apologetic smile. They looked at me with, 'have-you-gone-crazy-taking-orders-from-a-guy' look and I just shrugged.

"Listen here, you asshole. We are taking her with us and you can't do shit 'bout it." The blonde one spat at him, while the brunette took my hand. At this point, I was completely in awe of these girls and at the same time freaked out. They started pulling me but the guy stopped them.

"Do you have any idea who you are daring to stop?"

"We are Kings. If you try to stop us one more time. You. Will. Regret." They threatened him.
My eyes widened at the name.

"You mean, Kings as in Kings Corporation?" I asked them quickly. They turned to me and smiled.

"Yes, sweetie. That ones exactly. The owner, Ryan King is our older brother."

I loved these girls already. And I wanted to spend more time with them. They could become my first girl friends!! I need to do something. The guards wouldn't let me go that easily.

Think, Ava, think!
Wait a minute, they are Kings!

I smiled at the twins. They gave me confused look.
I turned towards to guards, "If I get permission from Mr. Hunt, you will leave us alone. Do you understand?"
He nodded skeptically.
I took out my phone from my purse and called Mr. Hunt.

"You better be calling for good reason." He said in his usual annoyed voice.

"Mr. Hunt, the meeting went well but there was a small accident. Mr. Kings' sisters are insisting for me to go along with them for some time. Is that alright?" I asked nervously.

"Is there anything you can do without accidents, you dumb child?" He growled.

"I am extremely sorry, sir. But I am just trying to make it right. If I refuse they may get upset about it. I was hoping that my refusal doesn't affect your business with Mr. King. That's all." I said in fake concerned voice.
He would never risk his business deals for such a trivial thing.

"Fine. But do not try to be over smart. The guards will follow you till you get home." He grumbled and then hung up.

You go girl!

I turned to the guard with a wicked smile. "Lead the way girls."
He clenched his jaws and stepped aside.
The girls jumped in excitement and we headed out.
