Lorenzo's POV

Hunt is forcing our Sorellina to marry his son!

Ryan, his siblings and Mr. Matthew looked at us with uncertainty.
I glanced sideways at my brothers. I saw the same emotion in their eyes as me. We were all on the same page it seemed.
Slowly our shocked and pissed expression turned into ridicule and all of us burst into fits of laughter.

"Ava getting.... Hahahaha...married day after tomorrow... Haha.. Damn!" Romeo tried to speak in between his laugh.
I composed myself quickly and looked at Ryan. All of them looked confused at our reaction.

"Ryan.. Ryan.. Sorellina is our hope, our world, our everything. And now her fratelli are here. She is not getting married to anyone." I explained to him.

"But brother, we know this and these people know this. She doesn't, nor does Hunt." Dante pointed out.

"Then we'll let them know." I replied casually.

"How?" My twin brothers asked.

"By bringing hell on them." I smirked.

"You mean to say we attack Hunt on the wedding day." Stefen asked.

"Yes we attack him during the wedding. He won't see this coming. And this way we'll have them all at one place." Ryan said before I could reply. I nodded at him.

"What about the media and other people attending the wedding?" Dante asked.

"We'll lure them out of the venue away from the crowd. This way no one else would get hurt." Ryan suggested. He came to me with a bottle of whiskey and poured one for both of us.

"I don't give a damn about the media or the crowd. But I think it would be better if we are discrete about our mission so that the probability of things going south lessens." I said swirling the drink in my hand.

"Hunt is going to pay for taking our Sorellina from us." Romeo gritted his teeth.

"How do you people know Ava?" I asked them.

"I met her at Hunts mansion when I went to make a business deal with him." Ryan replied looking away.

He's hiding something.

"So he kept her at his place this whole time?" Marco asked.

"I guess so." Ryan said.

"We both bumped into her at Starbucks few days ago." Veronica, I think the blonde one from the twins, told us.

"We didn't. You did. You spilled her latte." Vanessa, the brunette argued with her. I looked at my twin brothers and saw how intrigued they were with the King sisters.

Interesting. Focus Enzo. Now's not the time for match making.

Even if I'm Capo of the famiglia, I'm also their older brother. For 13 years, we had no hope of future and happiness. Vengeance had become the mission of our lives. But ever since we knew our Sorellina is alive, all of us felt this hope of happiness, of normal life, of future. And in this family, the happiness of my siblings was my responsibility.

"Girls, please, not now." Ryan pleaded them.

"Sorry, brother." Veronica apologized.

"You met her at Starbucks? Hunt lets her go out?" Marco asked.

"Well, not really." Vanessa looked a little unsure.

"What does that mean?" Matteo asked them in confusion.

"Since her dress was ruined when the coffee spilled on her, we insisted her to come to our apartment and change. But before she could answer her bodyguard stopped her." Veronica replied.

"He was spying on her. He was not her bodyguard. He was just one of Hunt's men, sent to keep an eye on her." Vanessa scoffed.

"She literally had to beg and lie for coming with us."

"She looked like that caged bird."

"Hunt keeps her well just to maintain his reputation."

"But you will know how broken she is when you meet her."

"Her face is plastered with this fake smile but anyone can see the sadness in those eyes."

"We never knew she was kidnapped. The thought of her living like a prisoner for so many years."

"Goosebumps."

"No wonder why she was so quiet."

"The curiosity in her eyes when we shared our adventures, she must have missed so much in her life."

"She also told us she was homeschooled. She wanted to go to college but Hunt would never allow her."

"She said they have tapped her phone. So they know all things she does on it."

"She looked so scared when Hunt called."

The twins kept on telling us about her. I could feel the sadness spreading in the room. Every injustice we heard about her made my blood boil.
"No wonder she was crying when I first met her." Ryan had just whispered  lowly to himself but I heard it.
I clenched my jaw.

They made her cry. When she was small, we would never let a tear leave her eyes. Her smallest cry was enough to get us on our knees. We would leave everything to be with her. We would do anything to make her smile. And that laugh.. there was nothing more precious in the world than her laugh.

But here, we could not save her from these monsters. They cut the wings of our angel and we could do nothing!

I had gripped the glass with so much strength that it broke into pieces. The glass crushed into my left palm which started bleeding. Dante put his hand on my shoulder, "We will get her back soon, fratello."

"You have all our support. We will save her." Ryan reassured me.

I don't why but I feel like I can trust him.

"Ryan will not let this wedding happen." Arlo smirked at him.
Ryan gave him the deadliest glare.

What was that about...

I stood up and so did my brothers.
"I assume that we have a deal now."

"It's not a deal." Ryan said standing up. I narrowed my eyes in confusion.
"It's not a deal anymore. It's a single mission. Because we both want Hunt. And Ava's freedom matters to me as much as you do." I raised my eyebrow. Ryan cleared his throat, "She means a lot to my sisters."
His siblings chuckled at that.

"Yes, she does brother." The girls said holding their laugh.

What am I missing here...

"Alright then, we'll take your leave now. There are few things we need to arrange. Tomorrow we'll prepare our plan for the attack."
I shook Ryan's and Mr. Matthew's hand and we left.

Just hang on for some time mia cara. Stiamo arrivando presto. (We are coming soon.)
