It had stopped raining, but it was still cool. The coastal breeze making them lightly shiver under their clothes every here and there. It was still nice though. The weather not changing the wonderful view.

Taehyung looked at Cassandra as she was telling him about a similar lake she had visited as a kid. She seemed to genuinely enjoy it there, sitting crossed-legged next to him on a cold rock. The wind sometimes blowing one of her curls right onto her face and her brushing it off with her hand as she continued talking to him.

He smiled to himself, adverting his eyes from her and back to the sea in the distance. They grew silent. Observing the waves forming and dissolving again.

"Thanks for bringing me here," Cassandra spoke up again. Fiddling with the hem of her jacket. "It's really beautiful and I didn't even know this place existed."
"You showed me your amazing attic, so.."
A small smile tucking on her lips as she brushed off yet another curl. He really liked her hair. The colour was unusual and its texture as well. It was beautiful.

"Cassandra," he simply said then, frowning lightly. "That's a weird name. But I like it." His chuckle made her let out one as well. "Thanks, but yours isn't too bad either."
"Earlier in the car.. you called me 'Tae'," he stated then. Her eyes widening. Had she? She hadn't noticed it. "Oh, sorry. I tend to shorten names sometimes. I won't do it again."
"No, no." He shook his head then, grinning. "I like it. Keep calling me that."
She pursed her lips, feeling her cheeks blushing for some reason.
"Does 'Taehyung' mean anything?" she curiously asked then. Watching him think for a moment, his eyes focusing on something in the sky as the wind lightly tousled his own strands of hair. Maybe taking off the beanie hadn't been a good idea. "'All wishes come true, everything will be alright even if facing difficult situations' -this kind of meaning. My grandpa was someone who studies names and creates names for others. He gave this to me, so it'd be similar to my dad's."

Cassandra was seemingly in awe, as she didn't expect such a deep meaning. "That's a really great meaning for a name," she smiled then, seeing him smiling at her as well. "What about yours?" She bit her lips at his question, shrugging. "Mine doesn't really have a meaning. At least, no one knows it for sure."
"That's.. sad. It's such a beautiful name. I'm sure it also has a beautiful meaning."
There, her cheeks started burning now. She shrugged it off. "But it's alright," she grinned then, "And hey, my grandpa also chose my name. He was an astrophysicist and named me after an asteroid. 114 Kassandra."
"Hold on, you're named after an asteroid?" He looked at her in disbelief for a moment. "That's really cool, it sounds so badass!" he exclaimed. Clearly amazed by that fact, making her laugh.
"You know what else, though?" she said then with raised brows. Her tone exciting him only more. "The asteroid was named after a historical person. Ever heard of the Trojan War?"
Furrowing his brows, he nodded. "Don't tell me there was someone named like that there."
"There was," she smirked, "She was actually princess of Troy and a priestess of Apollo. She was cursed to utter true prophecies, but never to be believed." Her smile slowly turning into a sad one as she looked down to her shoes. "Quite sad destiny, isn't it? To see the future and have no one believe you."
Taehyung nodded, noticing her glum expression. "But I still think it's a beautiful name and besides-" He pushed himself off the rock then. Glancing over his shoulder, he stuffed his hands into his jacket's pockets. The expression on his face changing from a playful to a soft one. "You don't need to worry. I'll always believe every word you say."

For a moment, she just stared at him. Observing his wavy hair swaying in the wind similar to the waves of the lake.
"Tae?"
"Hm?"
"How did you know where I live?"
He turned around, facing her with a smirk. "Told you. I have my ways."
She rolled her eyes. "Seriously. I forgot to tell you, so how did you find out?"
The boy dramatically sighed then, taking a step back to lean his arms on the rock. "Me and the guys live a couple of houses down the road. I always see you on your way to college."
"That.. sounds creepy."
He laughed out. "You asked."
Something cold and wet fell on their skin. "Not again," he heard her complain. Straightening himself, he held his hand out for her to grab which she gladly did. Carefully getting off the rock. He didn't let go of her hand though, neither did she. And she couldn't help but notice its warmness. And a tingling feeling, like stars from the sky on her skin. "W-we're going to get soaked," she said as the rain drops started pouring harder. Letting go of him then. She didn't really want to, but the situation felt awkward. She wasn't sure of how to act not to make it worse. And Taehyung noticed it in the way her eyes were avoiding his as they were making their way back. His hand feeling colder than before now. Him quickly stuffing it back into his jacket's pocket.
He looked around then, searching for his car. Once he spotted it, they ran over to it. However, he couldn't instantly find his keys. Rummaging his pockets. "Wait a sec-" he yelled over the rain, frantically searching for it. When suddenly hearing Cassandra's laugh. Confused his looked up, seeing her having thrown back her head. Her eyes were closed and a content smile was on her face as heavy rain drops rolled down her face, tickling her.
By this point, they were both soaked. "I think it's too late," he pointed out. She nodded, beginning to laugh all over again. The rain pouring harder on both of them. And he couldn't help but smile at this reckless view of her.

And as he saw Cassandra like this, Taehyung slowly realised what he was doing or rather, what he was about to do. And his smile disappeared. His lips forming a straight line. "Let's go," he monotonously said. Having found his keys, he unlocked the door. Both quickly getting inside.
The drive back was dreadfully silent. Both just staring outside at the wet road and trees without exchanging any words. Cassandra occasionally peeking at him. She wasn't sure, but something seemed off all of the sudden. He was silent. Lips pressed together, brown eyes focused on the road. It seemed like in his head he was miles away. And she was wondering what caused that change between them.

Soon they were back in the city and he stopped the car right in front of her house.
"Well," Cassandra said then as she removed the seatbelt, "Thank you very much for today."
"No problem." His voice not above a whisper. Which made her frown, not understanding his mood change. "Okay, goodbye then," she softly said and took her painting from the backseat. Getting off then, she slammed the car door behind her. Watching him driving off.
And Cassandra was standing there in her drive way, feeling like something was missing.

Maybe the aching feeling in her chest and stars on her skin again.
