AU where the ninja work at a police precinct

It's no secret that Nya has a crush on Lloyd. Everyone knows about it. The only person who Nya wants to know is oblivious.

"Nya."

"Lloyd."

"I need you to sign this report," Lloyd says, leaning on Nya's desk.

"I'll sign your report," Nya stands up and walks towards Lloyd.

Nya grabs the report and pulls it towards her. Lloyd pulls it back towards him. They pull it back and forth before Nya pulls it out of Lloyd's hand. Lloyd pulls out a pen and clicks it. He offers it to Nya. Nya takes it. Nya pushes the file against Lloyd's chest. She signs it and hands it back to him.

"Careful, the ink is still wet."

"Maybe this'll help," Lloyd says before blowing on the paper.

Nya joins in a few seconds later.

𝗔𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿- 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺
Lloyd is sat at the table with a pile of paper in the hole puncher.

"You punching holes?" Nya asks as she walks in.

"Yeah."

"That's way too much paper."

"Not for me Midget. Now I'm gonna go and get some yellow paper so I can do this all over again," Lloyd says, getting up and leaving the room.

𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀
Nya walks up to the lamppost and places a missing poster against it. As she goes to staple it, Lloyd comes up behind her and staples it for her.

"I could've done that," Nya says, turning to Lloyd.

"Yeah, I know you could've done it. But I did it."

"Seriously guys, there's a lot of other poles. A whole street full of them," Cole calls out.

"So Lloyd, when are we going to stop messing around and do this thing?"

"Erm...uh...never."

"What?"

"You know what, I just realised I forgot something at home. I'm just gonna..." Lloyd turns and sprints off.

"That was weird. You okay?" Cole asks Nya.

"Yes," Nya turns and stabs the picture with her staple gun.

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗱
"Do you think Nya noticed that I freaked out a little when she asked me out?"

"You mean the way your eyes popped out of your head and you sprinted away at full speed? Yeah, I think she noticed."

"So what do I do now?"

𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁- 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁
Nya and Cole are stood next to a car when Lloyd runs up to them.

"Smith," he calls as he arrives. "Can we talk?"

"What do you want Garmadon?" Nya asks, turning to face him.

"Listen, Sarge gave me some really great advice. So Nya Smith, will you marry me?" Lloyd gets down on one knee.

"What?" Cole and Nya say together.

"This is what you told me to do!" Lloyd yells at Cole.

"I barely said anything! You cut me off way too early!"

"Sarge, stay out of this," Nya murmurs.

"Gladly," Cole turns away.

"No I will not marry you. How about we get a drink first?"

"Yeah, yeah that sounds nice."

"Aww that's actually kind of sweet."

Lloyd pushes Nya against the car and kisses her.

"Nope," Cole murmurs walking away as Lloyd and Nya continue to make out against the car.
