Chapter 14

Adriana's POV:

"WAKE UP ADRIANA YOU CANT BE LATE ON YOUR FIRST DAY!" Alessio yells in my ear

I instinctively sock him in the face

"Ugh get out of my room." I grit through my teeth

He looks at me with tears running down his cheeks and runs out my room. I lay back down I can deal with him in a minute.

"ADRIANA JASMIN JIMÉNEZ VOLKOV LOMBARDI GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE RIGHT THIS INSTANT!" great that little shit told mom. I get out and walk downstairs in my pjs which happen to be a crop top and short shorts. I walk pass a group of guys who I assume are my brothers friends and the triplets. I walk over to the kitchen counter where mom is icing Ale's swollen cheek.

"Did you punch your brother young lady?" mom asks

"It was an accident he yelled in my ear really loud while I was sleeping and I just reacted."

"She didn't even apologize she jus told me to 'get out of my fucking room before she'd beat my ass' then she called me a 'cunt'" he said in between sobs

I stared at him speechless

"Mommy what's a cunt?" she snapped her head in my direction and I saw that asswipe stick his tongue out at me. That fucking liar! He's 14 he knows what a cunt is. Who doesn't?

"You are in big trouble Adriana. Go get ready for school right now before you're late. You'll have the whole day to figure out how you'll explain this to your father and Aleksandr."

Fuck me I'm so screwed and I didn't do anything. I don't care about Alessandro but Dad will probably get pissed

"Whatever." with that I walked upstairs. I took a shower and put on my school uniform which I hate. Girls have to wear blue plaid skirt, a white Oxford shirt with the schools logo, knee high black or navy blue socks, and black shoes no color laces.

Boys wear the same thing but with khaki pants. But on Friday's girls are permitted to wear khaki or black pants which I'm all for. Athletes can wear their jersey instead of uniform and on spirit day we wear whatever is appropriate and school colors. Seniors don't have to wear uniform of any sort and I can't wait for senior year.

After I get dressed I put my hair into a ponytail but leave some hair out in the front, then grab my bag and run downstairs. I see dick head Alessio dressed in his middle school uniform.

Apparently the school is super preppy and private so it's k-12. The school has 3 floors and takes up an entire city block. So at least I won't see the fucker. He's wearing the same uniform but his shirt is dark blue.

School starts at 8:00am and it's currently 7:00 on the dot. I feed Avalanche grab my phone and beats then head for the front door.

"Where are you going?" Mom asks

"I'm walking to school the walk is 45 minutes and I have to pick up my schedule." I say in a duh tone

"One you aren't walking to school it's not safe, two you haven't eaten breakfast." she mimicked my duh tone

"I always woke up late so I never had breakfast so I'll survive. Also not only did I leave for school at 5 am alone, I took a bus, train and ran for the ferry to get to school. If the ferry was late I'd have to run 45 minutes to school. I left before the sun was up and went home after it went down. If I survived in New York City and Russia I'm more than certain I can manage my way to school." I said rolling my eyes

"You're not walking so drop the attitude." Xander yelled

"Walking helps me clear my head!" I shouted

"You're going in a car and that's final!" Enzo's groggy voice boomed

"Fine but my headphone are staying on."

"After breakfast I'll drop you and Alessio at school." mom said

I burst out laughing "Yeah absolutely not! I'm not riding with that lying snitch. I'll just walk it since the sun is already out."

"She can ride with us we drove here." my amazing cousin offered. Mom thought about it then agreed

"Now eat." she ordered

I sat down but didn't eat

"Why aren't you eating?" Xavier asked

"I don't have an appetite so it's extra hard for me to eat breakfast without feeling nauseous." I said kinda embarrassed

"Well then let's go shrimp." Dante said

We went to his car and he sped off before I can put on my seat belt

"What you did to Alessio was kinda mean."

"He lied I didn't say any of that! I told him to get out my room and he dragged it! He even stuck his tongue out when I was getting reprimanded!"

"Well good luck with Alessio, we're here." he said turning off the car.

We got out and people we staring as Xander walked over to us. "Finally, let me take you to the office tiny." he said bored. I nodded and followed him

"Why is everyone staring?" I asked

"Cause you just rolled up with the Gods of this school." I rolled my eyes at his arrogance

We made it to the office

"Excuse me I'm here to pick up my schedule." I said she didn't pay me any mind

"Hey bitch why don't you do your job and give my sister her schedule and locker." Xander growled she looked up offended but complied

I took my schedule and immediately fell in love

1st- AP Computer Science A - Room 324
2nd- AP Language - Room 303
3rd- Korean III - Room 326
4th- Lunch - Cafeteria
5th- AP Calculus - Room 300
6th- AP US History - Room 315
7th- AP Physics - 3rd floor laboratory (328)
8th- Gym - Gymnasium (1st floor)

"Wow thats a lot are you sure you don't wanna change it?" Xander asked looking at my schedule

"Nah I got this also thanks for helping me." he grunted and left
