Adriana's POV
It's almost two in the morning and I've been awoken by another nightmare. I sneak out and ride my bike to the nearest Dunkin' donut and buy a black coffee with whip cream and a donut. When I get back I sit in the kitchen with my laptop and drink my coffee and eat my donut while I think happy thoughts. My phone started ringing
"Hey dad"
"Hi JJ, I assumed you'd be awake. I need you to deal with someone before you head to school"
"Sure do you have a timeframe though"
"It's 3 right now so by the time you get there it'll be 4:45 and it's not too far from school. Niko will pick you and Av up. I'm also sending some men to meet you there"
"Sure thing, who is it and what did he do"
"He owes me money and instead of paying me back he fled New York. I haven't been able to find him since, but he resurfaced again. I want my money then I want him dead"
"And if he doesn't cough up the money?"
"Then just give him death"
With that he hung up. I grabbed my books and went upstairs to change. I decided on an all black outfit (outfit above). My hair was still nice a pretty from yesterday so I left it loose. I tucked my gun in my waistband and my knives in my boot and jacket. Then I went out front with Avalanche and we got in Nikolai's Mercedes-AMG E63s W213.
"Nice ride." He was wearing all black too and he looked tired
"We're twinning!" I yelled
"It's way too early please stop yelling."
"Whatever grumpy pants just drive." he nodded and pulled out the drive way
Alek sent 4 big cars to escort us. It annoyed me that he felt the need to send so many men.
"He trusts you JJ but it's just a precaution.
Mr. Kent has protection from someone so we can't go in solo. You're still in charge though." Niko was a mindreader
"Thanks." we finally arrive at his house. It was nice and big he lived near the beach
"So this fucker can live here but can pay us back?" I was annoyed
"I know let's make ourselves known." Niko said with a smile
"Boss." the men greeted me as I exited the car and I nodded
I rang the doorbell and the person who answered took me by surprise. I raised my brow
"Ace? To what do I owe the pleasure?" I ask
"Why aren't you home?"
"I have business to attend to." I pushed past him and saw father, Enzo, and Teo inside along with Kent and his wife
"So you ran to the Italians?" I asked while putting my silencer on my gun. I saw the boys tense up
"Adriana leave!" father yelled
"Don't tell me what to do this doesn't concern you. He owes us money and instead of paying he ran to you for protections. You could've easily paid your debt. Give. Me. What. You. Owe. Us." I grit through my teeth and cock my gun
"Please Miss Volkov don't harm us I have your money." he begged
"Get it then." he hands me a duffle bag I take it and hand it to one of the men
"Thank you." I smile then I shoot him between the eyes
His wife screams and I turn to my men
"You're a monster!" she says in tears
"So I've been told." I respond coldly
"I hope you burn in hell!"
"Shut her up and grab her. Make sure she's ready for the auction tomorrow night. She'll pay off his interest. Let's go."
With that I turned around and left. Niko and Avalanche at my side. My men took his wife.
"You're gonna get an ear full from your family." Niko says amused as he drives
"Probably but it be like that."
"It really do." it's already 7. Luckily I didn't get blood on my clothes and I have my school bag so we head back to Alek's place.
My brothers we calling me nonstop but I really didn't wanna deal with them bitching about my mafia involvement. The amount of talks we've had about the dangers and shit is getting annoying
"You should answer and put it on speaker I wanna hear what they have to say this time."
"As if, I'm gonna avoid this as long as I can." he laughed at my response
We got to Alek's house and went inside . He wasn't downstairs so I ran to his office.
"Privet, ser! Rabota sdelano!" I yelled as I barged in
Hello good sir! The job is done
"Blyad!' " he said trying to get dressed
Fuck
He had Mabel bent over his desk. This happens way too often, I gotta start knocking. I turned around and went to the kitchen
"Hey Dimitri why are adults so gross?"
"What do you mean?" he asked confused
"Alek and Mabel were... yeah on his desk. So fucking gross." he made an o shape with his mouth. Niko on the other hand started cracking up
"Holy shit you walked in on them fucking. It's 7:06 in the fucking morning what a whore!" he yelled
"Care to repeat that Milo?" Alek challenged Niko and his laugh instantly vanished
"Thats what I thought." he muttered
"JJ Im sorry you saw me and Mabel doing stuff. Please knock in the future."
"Yeah I'll try."
"Also mom and dad are visiting they'll be at your game tonight then we'll have dinner. They also wanna see you on Sunday as well. Remember no cursing and warn your family, you know how dad feels about the Italians especially after the video."
"Yeah about that we're not on good terms right now."
"Why's that?"
"Kent went to them for protection and they oppose me being too involved in the mafia." he sighed
"Figure it out by tonight." he ordered
