Alessandro POV:

"MOVE OUT! WHY?" I was taken aback

"I have a lot of responsibilities now so I need my own space. I have a condo by the water, I'll always have guards and my driver will take me to and from school. This way the boys can have my room and Alessio can have his space."

"No Adriana you're 14 and living alone with a bunch of mafia men is not safe. I'm also certain you won't take care of yourself in your new place. Don't forget you're graduating soon, I already missed 13 years and then you're going away. Don't do this!"

"It's for the best I'll visit every weekend if I don't have mafia work."

She wasn't going to back down

"Fine but I want a key, you answer everytime we call, if I feel it's affecting your health you come home. Understood?"

"Yes sir you can drop me off there now and see the house." she offered

"Yes give me the address."  she did just that

It was a nice place but I was obviously still worried. She's my only daughter and I was going to miss more of her life.

She got a call from Alek and sighed

Adriana's POV:

"Da?"

"Adriana Im calling to inform you we've set a date for the wedding. It's during spring break so you will fly out here to attend. Mabel wants you to be her maid of honor since you're her future step daughter." he said coldly

"I'm not going, I'll be busy." I said dryly

"If I'm going you're going." He muttered

"It's your wedding!"

"JJ you're going."

"I have a lot going on so if you can kindly fuck off and let me work that will be nice."

Why would I say that

"Excuse me? I don't care how busy you are! you're my daughter and you will attend! If you can't trust your men to stay afloat without you then you have some work to do." he raised his voice and I moved the phone away from my ear

"Okay okay I'll go to your stupid wedding. Is that all because I'm busy moving."

"Why are you moving?"

"Because I felt like it and due to my recent activities I don't find it appropriate to live with them." I explained

"That's good I better see improvements then your recent work has been sloppier than how you killed your mother. You're making us look bad. Your lack of organization reflects poorly on me. Move Niko in with you as well. I will send Vladilen to watch over you. He will fill me in on your behavior and correct it."

"Ugh I don't need a babysitter. I can do my own shit, plus you know Vladilen he's so old fashioned and strict like his brother."

"He's also more lenient than my father which is why I'm sending him. Show some respect and fix your attitude before he gets there."

"I don't need a fossil breathing down my neck. Please dad I'm begging you not to do this to me. This is really really hard. I know this is my punishment but please." I was crying into the phone

I heard him sigh

"I'll send Yuri and Sergei instead. Please stop crying JJ? I know this is challenging for you and I'm seeing all your efforts. I'm so proud of you. I know you don't want to be at my wedding but I miss you."

"I miss you too."

"I have to go, Love you." he said

"Love you too." and I hung up
