17 And After!

Girls Day Out

It's 8.30 Am and Saturday morning is blistering....

Mia woke up a bit early that day and of course it was an holiday. Last night, she managed to avoid her dad and other members of her family and sneaked into her room quietly.

But now, she has to go downstairs. Her nose remained the same but there was no pain. She felt like a biggie nosie. The painkiller didn't give her enough sleep.

So, she decided to head downstairs and start the freak show. Since, it's an holiday, Justin, Ben and Isabell would be downstairs having breakfast.
Her phone beeps and a message pops up..

'Hey, Mia...Good morning!!😍....How are you??.. are you okay??' The message was from James.

Mia had no interest to reply him.
She could literally feel that her face looked exactly like a ball. The lack of sleep, the bruised and bulge nose and her swollen face made her look terrible than usual.

She threw her phone into the bed and left her room in frustration.

She arrived at the living room and found her dad reading newspaper, Ben was on his phone, Izzy and Justin were having breakfast along with Rebecca.
Mia sneaked into the kitchen and took a seat near justin. But she kept a low face and hasn't looked up at anyone.

"Hey sweety, what's wrong?! Acting so  different ?", questioned Rebecca looking at Mia suspiciously.
Mia looks up to meet Rebecca's eyes.

"Oh, jesus...what the hell?", yelled Rebecca rushing towards Mia.

Rebecca's voice got the attention of Mr.Hills and Benjamin. They came rushing towards the kitchen. Justin, who was eating his pancake looked up and was shocked too.

'Now, the real show begins' Mia thought to herself. She knew they would feel sad like her, so she decided to act normal.

"Mom, don't freak out!! It's nothing. I'm totally fine", said Mia.

Mr.Hills was shocked to see Mia. Ben gave her a confused look.

"Hey, baby girl, what's this?? Tell me how?? Did you get into a fight?? Or we you bullied by someone??", stated Mr. Hills.

"Dad, I'm the president of my school and how can I be bullied!!", claimed Mia.

"Ben, what the hell is this? Do you know anything about this?? Where were you when something like this happened to her??with this well built body of yours, you should be protecting her!! Not looking at your phone all the time!!", Rebecca started screaming at Ben.

"Mom, why are you shouting at Benjamin? He doesn't know about this. It happened yesterday at the field day when I tried to play something I never knew my whole life. I tried to play volleyball. And this was the reward. And most of all he was not there at the field day. Leave him alone.", declared mia.

Rebecca's eyes watered up and she started crying looking at Mia.

"Mom, I'm fine. No fracture. Just swelling and brusing. I will be better by tomorrow", assured Mia. Mr. Hills hugged Mia tight.

Though her wound was nothing serious, the love she got all of sudden made her cry too. She was lucky to have them. Seeing her mom cry, justin started crying too.

Mia hugged Justin and he spoke", Are you alright? Why are you all crying?"he asked sobbing.

He looked innocent and vulnerable at that moment. Mia would remember the day he came home wrapped up in pink towel. She cried the moment when she touched him and that made him cry too.
