17 And After!

Mia sat there stunned with a confused look on her face. Alec left without telling her what's on his mind. She hasn't seen Alec act like a jerk for a long time, so this was confusing as well as annoying for her.

She decided to find Alec after class and talk to him about the things that happened in the music class. Mia played her guitar but she couldn't do it properly since her mind was engaged with thoughts.

She put her guitar down and kept wondering why Alec was so angry on her for no reason. She hasn't done anything to hurt him. But he on the other hand was so angry on her. It was bit upsetting.

"Earth to Mia", Eric waves his hand in front of her face to grab her attention.
Mia smile at his childish reaction.

"Hey, Mia. What's up?? I have been calling your name for the past two minutes but didn't even flinch. Are you fine?? Is everything alright??", he asked her in an concerned tone with a worried look.

Mia was surprised to see the way Eric worried about her. They had just know each other for the past week. He sounds like the most caring person she would get to know in the short span of time.

'Once in our lifetime, we'll get someone who cares us, even when we have never tried to do the same, and there is always someone who cares for us without our knowledge. So never let them go from your life. Caring for someone is easy, but to make someone care for you is difficult. So never lose the one who really cares for you. Because we all ignore those people in life who cares us, loves us, misses us. And one day we might wake up and realize that we lost the moon while counting the stars.

I want to convey this because we all does this mistake of ignoring the caring person of our lives.

I'm lucky somehow and I have found my moon a long time ago .... hope when you all find yours, never lose it. Because it's not every time people really care us.

"Yeah, maybe I'm alright!! I'll be alright soon", assured Mia. Eric takes up the seat beside hers.

"Wanna share something?? I'm all ears!!", confessed Eric. Eric wanted to share her worries, he doesn't want her to suffer alone.

"Probably, I don't know what to say. I'm just mixed up with thoughts and doubts", murmurs Mia looking down at her sneakers.

"As a friend, I demand to know why are you sitting her with a long face and the guy, Alec just ditched you before moving out of this class", Eric crossed his hands over his chest and demanded answers from Mia.

"Alec and myself, we are complicated", Mia let out a small sarcastic laugh.

"Complicated?? What do you mean complicated??", chided Eric.

"We are like the two opposite poles at the beginning when we met,  rivals then friends, back to rivals then again friends.

For the past few days, we were peanut butter to jelly, he was like the apple to my pie, we were having a really good time and now, who knows what!!", Mia sounded frustrated.

"Hey, come on, you guys will be alright again. Because to be best friends, you have to go through drama, stupidity, secrets, experiences, fights, arguments, jealousy, tears and laughter. Those are memories you make together", cheered Eric with his charming smile.
