"You're kidding." Dean said as a matter of fact, not as a question. He was stating a truth he wanted, by all means, to believe in. He had a slight hope that maybe that way, the reality would be altered.

"No." Delilah simply responded and smirked, "No, Dean, I am, sorry, we are not kidding." she said playing with Gabriel's fingers.

"You are totally joking." Dean said, once again, trying desperatly to change the course of where this conversation was going.

"And I repeat, we are not." Delilah said boldly, with a hint of amusement quite evident.

"Kiddo, you okay?" Gabriel asked truly concerned when Dean was as speechless as he never has seen him.

"Therapy. I'll need therapy sessions after this," Dean said and Sam laughed out loud, amused as he could ever be, "you too, bitch."

"Jerk." Sam answered still giggling like a teenage girl, like his sister for example. It was right then when Sam caught the seriousness in the couple's eyes and gaped in horror, "No, no, no, no! You can't marry my sister!"

"Our," Dean said bitterly.

"It is illegal in so many ways. Is just so...wrong. Just no! This can't happen! I won't let you!" Sam was losing his temperament and was shouting already, his neck vein being very visible because of his sudden alteration.

"Damn boy we won't let you." Dean said realizing his brother was ignoring him and the help he was willing to offer to this cause.

"Guys, relax. We know it's illegal and wrong in a lot of ways. That's why we call this our early commitment." Delilah stated.

"Early commitment?" Dean asked exhasperated. The couple nodded and Delilah continued;

"We won't marry until I'm long past 24. If I live by then..." she said rethorically.

"Don't you ever repeat that last part," Dean said angered. Delilah gulped and continued her well elaborated speech.

"As I was saying, we won't marry right now. It's just that our thoughts end up in a conclusion: we are really meant to be togheter, but, I'm as young as a seed, not even starting to bloom entirely, so that's why we'll wait. The ring is only a detail, with a story, and is why it's placed where it is." she said raising her hand, showing proudly the silver ring ornamented with the saphire, "Plus it'll give us both the time to analyze how everything will change, plus it leaves both with the opportunity to meet more people, although we're pretty sure they won't do." Both Dean and Sam looked questioning to them. Then they exchanged a stare and sighed at the same time.

"I don't think we have a right of opposing to this, Dean, I mean, it sound good to me." Sam said more calmly than his brother.

"No! It won't do! It can't, it's not supposed to..." Dean said frustrated.

"How would you know? How are you so sure?" Sam demanded to know. Everyone looked expectant at Dean.

"You married her?!..."As a matter of fact, yes I did." "What the hell?!"

It was hard to be reminded of that "conversation" since it wasn't entirely real. Plus, having that conversation lead Dean to find out somethings he didn't wanted to find about. Never. But it was a probable universe, right? It's not like it would happen like that, right? And now there was Gabriel, which left Cas behind. He wouldn't have liked the conversation they were having at the present if it was Castiel either, but he would have tolerated it a little better.

Or not.

"I need some fresh air." Dean said and threw an apologetical sincere smile at his sister, "As long as you're happy." he said and walked away. Delilah smiled and hugged Gabriel tightly. Sam, unable to unfeel as a third wheel, walked outside with Dean.

"Dean?" Sam asked concerned.

"I saw her. In the future. You were, gone. And I was sent into this alternate universe." Dean said, his chest in pain, "You said yes to Lucifer. Everything went so wrong after that. There was a base camp. And somehow, Delilah ended up marrying Castiel. The non-angel version of Castiel. That's why I know, this isn't supposed to happen."

"Dean, you don't think I'll say yes to Lucifer, right?" Sam said softly.

"No. But 'love' or whatever will find its way, right? If that's the destiny they will end up togheter."

"Not necessarily, but that's beside my point. Why haven't you said anything about that? Specially to her?" Sam said sitting at the concreted floor. Dean joined him.

"I don't know man, how would you say that to a girl? Besides she seem so of that...romantic type of girl. And I thought she wasn't as mature as she was supposed to be to know, but I was obviously so wrong. I thought maybe she would concentrate on hunting exclusively and only. Nothing else. Specially since the Dance. She met him, she danced with him. She understands his enochian, or enochian in general, she is his...guarded human." Dean stopped closing his eyes. He felt little twinches at his chest, burning considerably much.

"Lucifer will probably end up using that as bait."

"As long as she doesn't let him enter."

"But she will. She will feel the need."

"Sam, I am so disappointed on how things turned out. I didn't bring her with us to make her life such a mess."

"We are Winchesters: our lives have to be a mess."
