"You're busy today, right?" Kourtney asks Nini over video chat on Saturday.

"Yeah, Linda is taking us all to the zoo pretty soon." Nini smiles.

"You're excited?" Kourtney asks, surprised.

"A little, yeah. Lia is going to have a ton of fun." Nini grabs her jacket off a chair. "Oh! How'd your date go yesterday? Was she a nice girl?"

Kourtney takes a second longer than normal to answer. "It went well."

Nini furrows her eyebrows and turns her full attention to the camera. "That's vague."

"Yeah, sorry. I'll tell you more when you're home from the zoo. It's just a lot," Kourtney explains.

"Oh, alright. That's fine. I hope everything is okay."

"It's time to go!" Nini hears Linda's voice call through the house.

"I have to go," Nini says apologetically. "But I am getting the full story later."

Kourtney nods in confirmation before Nini ends the call.

Nini wonders what Kourt couldn't just tell her right then. Is it really that long of a story?

Nini shakes her head, trying to get that off her mind so she can enjoy the zoo with her foster family.
