Evan didn't know what the hell to wear.

He'd decided that he'd tell Dean after he'd been on the date to avoid Dean's shrieking. Granted telling him afterwards would probably result in Dean having a heart attack but Evan could deal with that later.

For now he was more focused on getting dressed and trying to not cry out of nerves. He finally settled on his usual washed out jeans, a T-shirt that did not have holes in it and a jacket that was worn but warm and comfortable.

Heading to his living room, Evan sat down and started to go through his phone when a knock came from the door.

Getting up quickly, Evan took a deep breath and opened the door, smiling when he saw Derek,

"Hey Derek!" He said happily and Derek smiled down at Evan,

"Hey Evan...you ready?"

"Yea, let's go?"

"Let's go" Derek agreed and Evan walked out of his apartment, locking it before following after Derek. The two walking downstairs to Derek's car where Derek opened the door for Evan before heading to the drivers side, Evan half smiled and got in,

"Gentleman"

"Huh-oh...yea, my dad taught me that" Derek said and waited until Evan was buckled up to drive off.

The two chatted about random stuff, Derek was easy to talk to. Apparently he lived with his friend Raif and Raif's kids Yosef and Wally.

"Are the kids nice?" Evan asked and Derek chuckled,

"They're nice...excitable but nice"

"They're kids" Evan said with a smile, everything seemed to be going good so far.

Evan hoped it would stay that way.
