Falling (SEQUEL TO 'THE SECRETS WITHIN')

Chapter 28

Armin POV

So after the police came, we were all taken to hospital for either checkups or treatment for serious wounds like Eren's. Luckily, most of Eren survived, but he had to get a prosthetic leg because the damadge to his knee was beyond belief. Krista had stabbed it right where the bones connect and had popped the knee out of place, plus had damaged the bones extently and obviously the skin, tissue and nerves around it.

Robert unfortunately had to move back to his home, but talked to Levi everyday and eventually ended up moving here permanetly. Levi and Robert never left eachother.

Petra and Ethan turned out fine, especially since Ben ended up dating Petra in the end. They were really cute together I had to admit, and Ben was pretty responsible which would hopefully get Petra out of anymore trouble.

In other news, after the whole incident, I became stronger emotionally and never cut again. I found a quote which I basically lived by.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, just imagine that it's going to launch you into something great.

Ymir died at the scene and Krista was executed, so they weren't coming back. I couldn't help but still feel a little bad and guilty for the whole situation, but I assured myself it wasn't my fault because it was their choice to do the rest. The advanges of being stronger, you don't blame yourself for everything anymore.

"Be careful." I chuckled as Ethan fell into my lap.

"Hi grandpa." He giggled.

"Hello little one." I began tickling him.

"S-Stop!!" He laughed and rolled off my lap, running behind his mother.

We were at a park. Ethan was 5 now and Petra and Ben were still together, sitting next to eachother on the grass. Robert and Levi were sitting next to Eren and I, speaking their own conversation in sign language which Robert eventually learn't; because he was forced.

After Robert left to go back home, his mother was furious and his father beat him almost to death. He was sent to hospital and the doctors told him that because of his father strangling him, his vocal chords were damaged. He could still talk a little but he just decided he didn't want to so he could be like Levi.

"Mummy." Ethan said, looking up at Petra.

"Yes?" Petra smiled.

"I heard a lady over there say something about love." He pointed at an old couple sitting on a bench. "What's that?"

"Love?" Petra asked.

Ethan nodded his head and looked at his mother with awe.

"Love is... a feeling you feel inside when you like someone alot and you want to spend your life with them." Petra smiled, looking at Ben who kissed her forehead.

"How did you fall in love grandpa?" Ethan looked at Eren and I.

I looked at Eren and smiled. "That's a long story."

did you know I wasn't actually planning to call this book Falling I just thought of it and wanted to plan a book cover as a draft but then accidently forgot to change it oopss

also i was unhappy with this book cuz i made no storyline except for the ending but i still hope it was alright sorry .-.
