You and Dean have a horrible fight, saying nasty things to each other. Sam stops you from leaving, telling you to just stay home to cool off, but then you and Dean go days without speaking. Jack gets really upset, thinking his family is falling apart and you have to talk to him about how it works.

Trigger warnings: swearing, fighting

I was pacing in the library. Dean and I were fighting about Mary telling me his idiotic plan about putting himself in a box because of Michael. He never told me. He was going to basically off himself, and wasn't going to tell me.

"How could you be so SELFISH!?" I yelled at him once again. He knocked over a stack of books that was on the table in front of us. "How is it selfish to get rid of myself because that psycho is trapped in my head?! It would save everyone in this world." He screamed right back. "Okay, asshole, whatever you want to do to rationalize that part fine. I get that you're hell-bent on killing yourself to save the world, but how could you just not tell ME!?"

We have been arguing at a screaming level for an hour now. I have moved past the tears and am now angry. "Son of a bitch! I didn't tell anyone! None of you would've let me go through with it! And it just might be our only way of getting rid of Michael! That's what's important. Not me babying you.." "So offing yourself behind my back is more important than our relationship?!" I cut him off. He rubbed his face roughly and actually nodded. "Yeah. Saving the world from this psycho getting loose from my head is the most important thing I could ever do."

That one cut deep. So everything we've been through means nothing. "Fine. Have it your way Dean! You don't have to worry about me anymore." "What are you saying?" He asked, looking pissed and worried. "It means you don't need to think about me anymore, Dean. I'm leaving." He threw a chair. "Fine! Be selfish!"

I stormed off to get my car keys. I wasn't leaving for good of course, but I needed to get out of here to cool off. Sam appeared in front of me holding my car keys. "Sam, hand them over." He shook his head, "Please don't go. If you leave right now who knows how long it will be until he comes after you to apologize. He's not thinking correctly these days." I sighed, "Sam, it's between me and him." He shook his head and put the keys in his pocket, "Please listen. I'm just trying to keep my best friend where she belongs. Come on. We need you around here." "Fine. But I'm not talking to him."

That was six days ago. Dean and I are both really good at not talking and being mad. So, we haven't spoken. We got back from a trip yesterday, and even during all of that I hadn't spoken to him and he managed not to speak to me either.

I walked into the kitchen and Jack was sitting there looking upset. So I sat next to him, "Hey, bud. What's on your mind?" He furrowed his eyebrows a little and looked at me. Those eyes were soft and full of fear and sadness. "You and Dean... you don't love each other anymore." I was a bit surprised at those words, but I sighed, "No, Jack that's not true. We love each other a lot. Family argues sometimes."

He shook his head and rubbed his palms on his knees. "But you both said such mean things, and you don't talk to each other anymore." My heart broke slightly. This poor little kid was so confused by this. "I know. We were both really angry. It happens sometimes. But I love him, so much. And I'm not walking away. It'll get better one of these days, okay?" He nodded slowly, trying to put on a little smile but it failed. "Oh. Alright. So people who love each other get upset sometimes and say hurtful things?" I nodded and rubbed his back. "Exactly. Especially people who spend as much time together as we all do. I'm sorry we worried you, kid." "I was scared you and Dean were going to hate each other, and that you'd leave me."

Dean's P.O.V.
I stood around the corner of the kitchen as I heard my love talking to Jack. He was confused about us fighting, and scared she would leave. This is all my fault. "I'm not leaving Dean. And even if I were, I wouldn't be leaving you. You're family Jack." She was the sweetest.

So for the first time since our blow up, I went to our bedroom when she did. I followed a few minutes behind her. When I opened the door I knocked on it slightly to get her attention. She looked up and she was upset. "Hey. Uh, about the things I said..." She started to say. "No, this is on me. I uh, heard you and Jack. I'm so sorry. I went too far saying you weren't the most important thing to me. Because I swear that you are. I love you so much. And I should have told you what my plan was to get rid of Michael." She practically ran over to me and threw her arms around me, squeezing me tightly. "I'm sorry too. I was scared to realize that I could lose you, again." I held her tight and kissed her head, "I'm not leaving you. I hope to never lose you."
