Chapter 30

“Hmm...” I hummed. He took a seat like a king. He rested his face in his hand. Umiwas siya ng tingin at namula. Napangisi ako.

I can fully appreciate the art well. Also, did he became thinner? He also had visible eye bags. He must not have had a good sleep since then. Good grief, he should take care better of himself.

“W-What?” He stuttered. I bit the inside of my cheeks.

This is not good. I was suppose to ask him about what Gideon said but seeing him makes me forget it. Damn it, am I such a bad daughter that I do not even grieve or care of my mother’s death?

I simply averted my gaze. Pilit akong ngumisi.

“I am just wondering why a prince would come in a lady’’s room at night?” Pilyo kong sabi. He stiffened. He bit his lower lip. He tilted his head. His squinted, embarrassed gaze feels like it is melting me. I quietly sighed.

“W-What? I thought you are going to say something nice. I even went straight here after leaving the Main Palace.” He pouted a bit. Binasa ko ang aking mga labi..

He is becoming more transparent. He is oblivious that he does not even notice it, or he does?

A smirk formed at the side of my lips.

“Oh?” Panunuya ko.

“What?” Irap niya. He folded his arms.

“You came straight here, huh? Am I something special to you?” My eyes squinted.

Say it. If he really says it then it might just change his situation.

My fists balled. I can hear my heart beating loud.

Even if he does not like me, I might not just end up killing this adorable man. How can I kill him when I know he is something special to me? Friends. Yes. We are just friends. One of the more reasons why I cannot hate him once I found out that he really is involved with my mother’s death.

Lumunok ako. “Come closer, Your Highness.” His brows creased.

“Why are you calling me Your Highness? I thought you wanted to be informal with me.” Mahina niyang sambit. Napatigil ako.

Even I did not notice it.

Tumibok ng mabilis ang aking dibdib.

What? Am I nervous or what? I thought I got over the fact that of my mother’s death. Is it something? Am I feeling anticipation of what he is going to say?

I glanced at him.

“Does it bother you?” Ngisi ko.

“N-No.” His eyes widened a bit. He became flustered.

“Then come closer, Rionsky.”

“What? Ano ang gagawin mo sa akin? Something indecent?” Nahihiya niyang tanong. He blinked a few times and wandered his gaze in my room.
