NAEVA LANNISTER had been waiting for the wedding between her father and Sansa Stark to occur for days and although it was finally happening, she couldn't help but feel saddened for both parties involved. She knew neither wanted the marriage any more than she wished to become friends with Joffrey. She and Sansa had become friends in the absence of Toria and Marlena.

She gestured for her father to raise his head when Sansa entered the Sept. She looked radiant, but she always did, but Naeva could see her hesitancy and fear. It only made matters worse that Joffrey was to take her father's role of walking her to Tyrion. Naeva sent a small encouraging smile to both her father and Sansa as the wedding began.

She stood closer to her aunt and grandfather than she had ever wanted to be, but she was happy for Sansa finding someone that could never hope to hurt her and for her father to take the role of husband once more. Naeva narrowed her eyes as Joffrey took Tyrion's stepstool for him to stand on to cloak the bride and moved to stand beside his mother. Naeva glanced at Lewys and then locked eyes with Bronn who shrugged and then cringed at the second-hand embarrassment.

"You may now cloak the bride and bring her under your protection." Naeva felt helpless watching as her father and Sansa were both ridiculed as Tyrion couldn't reach the poor girl's shoulders to cloak her. Joffrey even managed to laugh causing Naeva to want to punch him even more. Naeva gestured for Sansa to kneel with an encouraging smile when the Stark looked to her for help.

Sansa did as Naeva suggested and Tyrion cloaked her effectively ending that embarrassment of a moment for both parties. "Your Grace, your Grace, milords, miladies, we stand here in the sight of gods and men to witness the union of man and wife, one flesh, one heart, and one soul, now and forever."

LEWYS LANNISTER watched as his extremely drunk brother sat beside the seemingly disgusted and disinterested Sansa Stark. Lewys was hoping that he would be the one to marry Sansa, but clearly it was not meant to be. He looked at Naeva beside him who seemed to be picking at her food and staring over at Bronn.

"Go on and talk to him." Lewys told his niece, who he was once in love with before he knew who she was.

Naeva instead cleared her throat and looked away. "It wouldn't be proper. He's a sellsword and I'm a lady." Naeva noticed Sansa getting up from her seat for some air.

"Excuse me, Naeva." Lewys hurried over to the younger girl. "Sansa."

The girl took a few steps back in fright. "Milord."

"Oh, please, don't start calling me that now, Sansa, or should I say, Sister?" Lewys said with a small teasing grin. Sansa returned it with a small smile.

"I wonder if it is as painful as they all say it is." Sansa wondered aloud causing both her Lewys to turn red. "My apologies, that was incredibly improper."

Lewys looked at the innocent and meek girl. "Well, I am not a woman, but I don't think that the pain is anything as painful as compare to what you have endured." Sansa smiled gently at the man in reponse. "But to answer your question, yes, from what I have heard it can be slightly painful at first, but it does get better and easier. I know for a fact that Tyrion would and I don't think could ever hurt you, drunk or otherwise." Sansa cracked a grin at him. "There's that smile. We must see it more often. Just remember that no matter what act pleased even when you aren't."

"Act pleased even when I'm not?" Sansa asked in confusion.

"Yes, that will make it sound like Tyrion is doing his job, when he is in fact drunk." Sansa chuckled, but her smile quickly faded at the sight of Joffrey waving her over.

"I have to go, Lewys." Sansa curtsied with a small smile. "Don't want to keep the King waiting."

Lewys smiled at the girl who turned to speak with the King. Lewys' smile never faded even when he spotted Tyrion drive a knife into the table in front of him and Joffrey screaming. It went silent and Lewys looked at Sansa with a look of pity and turned away and left the wedding feast shaking his head from his nephew's actions.
