"T-t-troll in the dungeon!" Professor Quirrell yelled, seconds right before he fainted. The great hall was silent for a second and then everyone started screaming and running. Ellie noticed Chase almost ran to the kitchens since Hufflepuff common room is right there. However Cedric Diggory grabbed him and tried to calm him down. That was of course before Dumbledore yelled and then assured that the prefects are to bring the students to their common rooms. "Isn't Slytherin's common room in the dungeon?" Jane asked. "I don't know and I don't care. Let's go!" Ellie yelled. "Everyone follow me." The Ravenclaw prefect yelled. "Do you think Chase is all right?" Jane asked, looking at Ellie while they were jogging. "He's probably freaking out. I mean he almost ran to his common room." Ellie replied, which caused Jane to chuckle for a few seconds. As they were all safe in the common room Brandon and Rosie ran up to Jane and Ellie. "Ellie! You're ok! Thank God!" Brandon exclaimed, picking Ellie up in a huge hug. "Ugh yes. Now put me down!" Ellie protested. Brandon and Rosie laughed at her and Brandon put her down. "You guys do know that we were behind you right?" Jane assured. "Oh." Brandon replied, causing everyone to laugh. "I wonder how the troll even got in?" Rosie questioned. Ellie thought how it was a little strange that Quirrell got scared because he did handle vampires but Ellie didn't really care much. Considering she personally thought Quirrell was annoying. "Do you think everyone's alright?" Rosie asked. "I think, but I did hear some people saying Harry Potter and Ron Weasley went to the girls bathroom." Brandon added. "Why would they go to the girls bathroom?" Jane queried. Then it struck Ellie. Hermione Granger. She was crying in the girls bathroom almost all afternoon. "Hermione Granger." Ellie muttered under her breath. Jane looked up at her and had a worried look. Even though they never talked to her much she was still their classmate. Ellie couldn't help but wonder what everyone else was thinking. Or possibly yelling? ——————————————— "WE want answers now!" Lee Jordan yelled in the Gryffindor common room. "Lee." George chuckled. "Yes?" Lee questioned. "Shut up!" George yelled, causing people to stare. "Jerk." Lee muttered, Fred rolled his eyes at the two. "Fred." Percy screeched. "What." Fred spat. "Where are Ron, Harry, and Hermione?" Percy demanded. "I don't know." Fred replied, and Percy then gasped. "Oh god I lost kids. Might as well kiss a job in the ministry for me goodbye!" Percy exclaimed, crawling into a ball sobbing, all Fred did was give him a look. Fred than smacked him on the head. "Oh stop it Percy. You'll be fine!" Fred exclaimed, as he rolled his eyes. "But." Percy mumbled, looking up at Fred. "Oh shut it." Fred replied. Percy just looked up at him and scoffed. Fred then started to worry about Ellie. Not because he likes her or anything. But just because she's a cute tiny first year. Yeah. That was it. Still it's not like he cared. He couldn't help but wonder if she was ok or not. And he wanted her safe. He didn't care if she didn't like him at all. He just wanted to know she was safe. Because he did care about her. He just didn't know how. And he was ok with that, because he had a while to figure it out. Fred ran up to his dorm and ran to find the marauders map. He scrambled on his desk and found the map. He grabbed the map quickly and he whispered, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." He quickly darted his eyes towards the Ravenclaw common room. When he saw Ellie's name he smiled and did a quick sigh of relief. "Freddie." George said, as he knocked on the door. "Yes." Fred replied. "Why are you checking the map?" George queried. Fred froze and then thought of something. Or more like someone he called annoying. Ron. "I'm looking for Ron. Mom would kill us if he died because we lost him." Fred replied. "Ok sure where is he." George said. Unconvinced. He walked up next to Fred and scanned the map. Fred noticed George went to a random spot before looking for Ron. "He's in the girls bathroom!" Fred shrieked. "Do we tell Percy?" George questioned. "No, he has to learn from his mistakes." Fred announced, George rolled his eyes. "Mischief managed." Fred whispered, and he put the map where it belonged. "I know you were looking for Ellie." George teased, and Fred rolled his eyes. "Just admit it you fancy her." George shot. "I don't fancy her." Fred protested. "Whatever. I'm not losing my bet to Lee though." George mumbled. "None of you are winning the bet!" Fred yelled, and Percy opened the dormitory door. "Shut up with all this racket." Percy screeched. "Sorry Percy, it's just Fred won't admit he fancy's the Ravenclaw." George exclaimed, and Fred's face grew red. "For the hundredth time I don't care if Fred fancy's a Ravenclaw just shut up!" Percy yelled, and he slammed the door. "That went well." George said. Fred just gave him a glare. George looked at him and shrugged to why he looked mad. "Jerk." Fred mumbled. "Who are you calling a jerk." George demanded. "You!" Fred shouted, then he jumped on George. "Hey!" George shrieked. "You deserve it!" Fred yelled, as he started to slap him. "No I don't, i'm better looking then you!" George yelled,than flipped Fred over and punched him. "Ow." Fred exclaimed, then he hit George. "Ow!" George exclaimed, then he hit Fred. Percy opened the door and his eyes widened. "Stop trying to kill each other." Percy warned. Then Percy grabbed the both of them by the ear. "Ow." Fred screeched. "Hey Percy, it's ok will stop fighting!" George exclaimed. "Enough with your nonsense. I'm sending you two to Professor McGonagall and she will decide your punishment for fighting." Percy spat. "But we weren't fighting. Fred just got mad at me cause I told the truth!" George yelled. "Stop lying!" Fred cried. "I'm not." George protested. "Are too!" Fred yelled. "Enough! Both of you. Can't you two ever stop fighting!" Percy yelled as he continued tugging them by the ear, causing the twins to groan. The twins stayed silent and rolled their eyes at Percy. "It's still your fault." Fred mumbled. ———————————— "MY fault!" Ellie laughed. "Yes! You took the last pumpkin pastie." Brandon exclaimed. "I'm sorry I got here before you." Ellie replied, Brandon just rolled his eyes. "Are you guys fighting over pumpkin pasties again?" Rosie questioned, as she sat down next to Brandon. "Yes." Brandon replied, Rosie just rolled her eyes. "So I heard you have a secret admirer." Brandon said, looking at Rosie. Rosie just stared at him confused. "What?" Rosie questioned. Then Brandon looked at Ellie. "She doesn't know!" Brandon gasped. "She does now." Ellie shot, giving Brandon a glare. "Do you know who it is?" Rosie asked. "Nope." Ellie simply replied. Giving Rosie a smile. "Didn't the Weasley twins tell you." Brandon said, as he popped a grape in his mouth. "They did." Ellie paused as she saw Brandon try to take her pumpkin pastie. "I will hurt you." Ellie exclaimed. "Sorry." Brandon remarked. "Anyways as I was saying. They didn't mention a name." Ellie explained. "Did they say anything you remember?" Rosie asked. "I think he's in Slytherin. I don't really remember." Ellie replied, and she took a bite out of her pumpkin pastie. And Brandon then crossed his arms. Rosie rolled her eyes at her brother being childish. "Oh just stop it and eat your grapes." Rosie scoffed. "Fine. I do love my grapes." Brandon chirped, as he popped another grape in his mouth. Ellie then saw Jane coming into the great hall annoyed. "What happened?" Ellie asked. "I'll tell you what happened. Draco Malfoy the boys a twat!" Jane exclaimed. "What'd he do?" Brandon asked. His mouth was full of grapes. Rosie then rolled her eyes and smacked him. "Hey!" Brandon shrieked. "Anyways. He was calling Chase a very rude name." Jane said. Ellie then remembered that Draco had called Chase that the first day. "He's a jerk." Rosie scoffed. "He really is. So um Jane are you going to eat that?" Brandon asked, pointing to a Jane's grapes. "Go nuts." Jane replied, pushing the grapes towards him. Brandon smiles as he took the grapes. "Ugh I hate Snape's class!" Jane exclaimed,opening to her homework. "You still didn't finish that?" Ellie asked. "Nope." Jane replied. Popping the p. Ellie rolled her eyes and smiled. Just then a random person tapped Ellie's shoulder. Ellie looked and saw that it was Cedric Diggory. "Hi." Ellie greeted, Cedric just smiled. "Do you know where Chase is? I just looked for him in the common room." Cedric asked. "He's probably in the bathroom crying." Jane said, and Cedric's eyes widened. "What!" Cedric screeched. "Draco." Ellie added. "Ok um thank you." Cedric thanked, and he ran to go towards the bathroom. "See legend!" Brandon exclaimed,pointing at Cedric. Rosie just rolled her eyes and slapped him with a book. Which caused Ellie to laugh. "Rude." Brandon mumbled. "Ok i'm done!" Jane exclaimed, as she finished her potions. "How'd you finish that fast?" Brandon asked. "I took Ellie's and copied from her's." Jane explained. "What!" Ellie screeched. Brandon laughed and Rosie hit him with a book again. "You were laughing too!" Brandon protested. "I know." Rosie replied, and Brandon groaned. Ellie just laughed at them. Whenever she was with Brandon and Rosie how could she ever be bored out of her mind. ———————————— FRED, George, and Lee were all sitting in divination. Bored out of their minds. "Ugh this class is stupid!" Lee groaned. "Shut up we need to read the tea leaves." George shot. "Ok Percy." Fred replied, causing Lee to laugh and George to glare at him. "Boys let me see your tea leaves!" Professor Trelawney exclaimed, as she walked over to the boys. "Um ok. What do we do?" Lee asked, getting an eye roll from the twins. "Well watch for right now. George and Fred switch cups." Professor Trelawney exclaimed. The twins switched cups and then stared at the tea leaves confused. "Ok boys now look at the shapes and read from the book." Professor Trelawney said. "Ok what I see for George is a bird and a small heart with an arrow. Also there's a sun. What does that mean?" Fred questioned and Trelawney rolled her eyes. "Well Mr.Weasley it means your brother will fall in love. The sun means that he will have great happiness." Trelawney explained. "Oh ok." Fred replied unsure of what to say. "Ok George your turn." She demanded. "Um I see something very similar but instead with one heart with an arrow there's two. And a balloon." George informed. Trelawney just smiled. "Well it looks like you've found a soulmate. But it will take a while for you to realize." She explained. George grinned at Fred. Fred glared at George. "Well done boys. Lee please partner with Angelina please." Trelawney demanded. "But Professor, she's the worst!" Lee whined, Trelawney just gave him a wide eye and Angelina hit him. "Ow! See what I mean. She gives me more abuse than Rosie Smith gives her brother." Lee exclaimed. Fred smiled for a moment because Rosie reminded him of Ellie. And he liked thinking of Ellie. Only for teasing purposes of course. And he smiled because he remembered that she was wearing pigtails today. "Thinking of someone?" George queried. "Oh shut it George." Fred snapped. George just laughed and took his cup from Fred and smiled. "Who do you think the person you're going to love is?" Fred asked George. His brother just shrugged. "Only time will tell brother." George replied. Only time will tell. Which led Fred to think for a few moments. And that means he doesn't like Ellie. He just needs to find his soulmate. Right? He just couldn't think of someone he knew. He just needs time to find out his soulmate. Time. ————————————— "TIME proves nothing to this Mr.Potter!" Snape yelled. Ellie and Jane laughed silently at each other. Harry Potter was currently fighting with Snape about who knows what. "Oh something funny Ms.Smith. Tell me what is the most powerful love potion in the world." Snape demanded. Ellie stared at him for a few seconds. Ellie thought of just one potion to come to mind. "I don't know amortentia?" Ellie guessed. "Funny. When I asked Fred Weasley this he said the same thing. Which means you're correct." Snape explained, with disgust in his eyes. Ellie just gave him a weird look and shrugged it off. "Wow what a coincidence, you and Weasley getting an answer correct." Jane teased. "Please, we both just happened to have a lucky guess." Ellie responded, and Jane rolled her eyes. Ellie just decided to smile and continued to do her work. Then all of a sudden the doors opened and in rushed Oliver Wood. Snape stared at him annoyed. "Yes." Snape shot. "Smith. We need her. Now." Oliver announced. "And why is that?" Snape questioned. "Please." Oliver begged. Snape looked at Ellie and then back at Oliver. "Fine. But 5 points from Gryffindor." Snape exclaimed. Oliver nodded and Ellie left with the boy. As soon as they got in the hall Oliver pushed them where no one could see them. "What the heck!" Ellie yelled. "I need to tell you something." Oliver replied. "Ok what is it?" Ellie questioned, and pushed him away from her. "You need to come with me in the quidditch field to see." Oliver stated. When they got to the field she saw it was empty. "What am I looking at?" Ellie queried. Oliver rolled his eyes and pushed her head towards another direction and then she saw Cedric Diggory. "Why am I looking at Cedric?" Ellie asked. "How do you not see him? Seriously women are you blind." Oliver laughed. Oliver pointed next to Cedric and saw that it was Chase. "What's he doing there?" Ellie asked, Oliver gave her a small look. "No idea. Cedric just told me he was asking for you." Oliver exclaimed. As Ellie was about to walk over to Chase but then Cedric looked up and his eyes widened. Ellie was confused and turned around. It was Filch. "Well, well. Students skipping class." Filch sang. Way too excited to get kids into trouble. But that is what he lives for. "But sir, we were just trying to help our friend." Ellie replied. "Oh really will see what McGonagall says." Filch responded, then he walked over to Cedric and Chase. Ellie just sighed. "It'll be ok mini Smith." Oliver said, patting her back. "Don't call me that." Ellie spat. "Ok sorry!" Oliver apologized. "Oh just shut up." Ellie shot. Just then Filch came with Chase and Cedric. "Sorry." Chase mouthed. Ellie smiled. "It's ok." Ellie replied and Chase gave her a smile. "Now I can't wait to see McGonagall's reaction when she sees four students skipping class!" Filch exclaimed and then started skipping as he was bringing them toward McGonagall's office. "He sucks doesn't he." Cedric whispered, causing the other three to laugh. "I don't know, maybe he's misunderstood." Chase whispered back. They all looked at him and just laughed. "Stop with the racket!" Filch yelled at them. Which caused them to laugh even more. When they got to McGonagall's office it turns out they would each be taken away 5 points and serve a detention. "But- But that goes on my permanent record!" Chase protested. "There is no permanent record in the Hogwarts Mr.Green." McGonnagall then helped Chase calm down. McGonnagall ended up giving them detentions. But they didn't care. No matter how much Chase apologized Ellie didn't care. Mostly because they had it the next day and Brandon also got a detention for tripping over Mrs.Norris the cat. As Ellie and Chase we're walking to the great hall they heard Snape shriek. "Weasley's detention!" Snape yelled, however all Chase and Ellie saw were the twins leaving Snape's room laughing. "Like I said they can be scary." Chase whispered, Ellie just rolled her eyes at him. "Hey Fred. Look it's the mini Smith." George pointed out. "Hey Pigtails." Fred greeted, Ellie just rolled her eyes at the boy. "Hi Weasleys." Ellie replied. "W- What did you do to Snape?" Chase stuttered, the twins just laughed. "We changed his hair green!" George and Fred said in unison. "You guys scare me." Chase admitted. "Oh don't worry little Chase." George said, wrapping an arm around Chase. "Yeah me and Georgie will help you Pigtails, and the other girl I always forget her name." Fred added, wrapping one of his arms around Chase as well. "I think it's Jane." George advised. "Yeah! That's the one." Fred exclaimed. Ellie just rolled her eyes at the twins and grabbed Chase and went to class. This time however when Fred called her pigtails she didn't glare. Fred noticed this too. Ellie then realized that she would be having detention not only with Chase and Brandon. But she would also have it with Fred and George. And Ellie just smiled at the thought.
