The bus ride

I got on the bus and put my bag On the bottom of the bus and then walked up the  steps,  and set by Donna. Who is it kind of towards the back of the bus.  Jughead was sitting by himself, my brother was sitting by himself andCheryl was sitting with Betty. Toni, did you bring them. Donna asked me sitting in her seat. Yes I said pulling out a bracelet kit. It's a tradition that we've been doing since the sixth grade field trip. Cool, I also downloaded this karaoke app on my phone Donna said pulling out her phone from her backpack. Can we switch seats I asked her immediately when I saw Cheryl sit in the aisle seat. Yeah sure donna said getting her stuff so we could switch seats. Thanks I said to Donna sitting in the aisle seat and putting my bag on the floor. What do you think we're going to do at the hotel Donna said to me and how far is Georgia Donna asked me. Then I saw my mom walk onto the bus and pointed her finger to Cheryl indicating that she wanted her to come here. Cheryl walked to her and walked off the bus. I was a little confused at what was happening at first. Then Cheryl came back looking very upset, and then she said back in her seat. Toni! Donna said hitting my shoulder. Yeah sorry, I was just zoning out I said collecting my thoughts. Do you think we're going to find Cheryl's mom Donna asked me. Maybe I told her. Ok listen up my brother said holding a clipboard. We are going to do rollcall when I call your name say here he said standing in the middle of the aisle at the front of the bus. Betty Cooper, he said. Here Betty said standing up. Cheryl Blossom, he said. Here Cheryl said like she was upset. I wonder what her and my mom were talking about. These crazy thoughts started filling my head what is my mom knew about Cheryl and her mom claiming to be alive. My brothers voice sounded like he was farther and farther away as my thoughts got worse and worse. Toni Donna shouted at me. Yes I said with a tear running down my face. Are you ok, she asked me. Yes I am fine I said lying to her. OK everyone's here my brother said. Then I saw my mom walk onto the bus. Good morning students my mother said. Good morning everyone replied back to her. Since there is only six of you riding to Georgia the soccer team will be joining me all of you she said. Wait isn't Brett on the soccer team I said whispering to Donna. Yes he is, Donna told me. What if he starts to flirt with me Donna asked me still keeping her voice in a whisper. Well then I will just kill him I told Donna. She was about to say something when she got interrupted by the rowdy boys and girls getting on the bus. And everyone knows the rules no girls sitting with the boys my mom said leaving the bus. These two girls sat behind us Cheryl was a two seats in front of us. There was a boy who is sitting in front of us. Then Chick and Brett, sat in the other seat. OK let's get this bus to moving the soccer coach said as the bus was put in ignition.  So it's a 2 Hour Dr. to the airport and then the plane ride is two hours donna said looking at a map on her phone. Can you paint my nails Donna ask me as I started to fall asleep. Yeah sure, I said going in my backpack pulling out some nail polish. What color I asked Donna. The white and the Shimmery green she told me pointing to the colors. Ok I said grabbing Donna's hand gently so I can paint them. We just talked about Cheryl's mom, as the time pass. Done eventually fell asleep on my shoulder and I was really bored of listening to music . I pulled out my phone sent a text message to Cheryl.

Toni: hey, how are you doing.

She read my text message but she didn't respond and then she looked, back at me and rolled her eyes. I was really worried about Cheryl, but then the bus stopped at the airport. Donna I said Tapping her shoulder a little bit. mmm , are we here Donna said in a raspy voice. Yes come on get up I told her. We got our bags from the bottom of the bus and run through airport security. I'm nervous this is my first time on a plane donna whispered in my ear. It's OK you'll be fine I promise I'll be there to protect you I whispered back to her. Or I'll protect you, Brett said butting  in our conversation. Go away I don't want your protection, donna snapped at him. Brett was about to say something but then got interrupted by a lady, NEXT! The Lady called as we stepped through the metal detector. What's your seat number say I asked Donna. E23 Donna said looking at her ticket. What I said look at mine. What is it I asked Donna. D45 I said showing Donna my ticket. How in the hell did we not get the same seats, Donna told me. I don't know I don't wanna be sitting with someone random I said . Then I got a text from Betty telling all of us to meet up by the Starbucks in the airport. What is the Betty jughead said sitting in a chair. I got a text from my brother Charles, saying that the text message location is coming from the exact hotel that we're staying in in Georgia Betty said showing us the text message. Oh my God Cheryl said just staring at the text message. How did you know it would be there Donna said. It could just be a coincidence  jughead told with a smile.  Donna just smiled back at jughead. OK we'll talk about this later Donna said see more people were walking over to the Starbucks. You and Jughead
I said to Donna as we walked off from the Starbucks. No we are just friends, she told me. Flight 305 please board, A lady over the intercom said for us to board our plane. We gave the lady our tickets and then walked on The plane. Then my brother Did a headcount to make sure everyone was here. Give a thumbs up to the soccer coach and the soccer coach gave a thumbs up right back to my brother. I said am I seat looking in the aisle to see who is going to be sitting next to me. Surprise surprise it was Cheryl. Hey I said to her she put her bag in the compartment up top. Hi Cheryl said that she was annoyed. God what's your problem I said. You're my problem you're literally like a stocker she told me. What I said a little bit confused. No what were over don't talk to me, she said it in a rude tone putting in one of her earbuds. My legs started shaking in tears started running down my face. I was going to text Donna but then I remembered my phone is on airplane mode. Hello passengers a man on the plane intercom says. Please fasten your seatbelt's as the plane will be taking off in a few, The man said again. I looked at the window as the plane was getting ready to fly off. When I turned over to see Cheryl who looked terrified. Are you OK I asked her in a quiet town. No she said to me. Is this your first time on a plane I asked her. Yes, she replied back to me in a quiet voice. It's OK I got you I said grabbing her hand in Interlochen get with mine.  Her hand was very warm and soft. Thank you Toni,Cheryl said in a quiet voice. But them she snatched her back. I just looked at me like she was disgusted. I don't know what I did I just wish you would talk to me. But eventually she fell asleep. She was such a pretty sleeper I thought to myself. I pulled out my origami paper and made a origami heart folding the creases. Eventually I drifted off to sleep, I woke up to fill a light tap on my shoulder. It was Cheryl. Come on we're here, Cheryl said the light tone grabbing her bag from the top compartment. We walked off the plane after everyone got their bags headcount. Toni, I just made a new friend and she has the voice of an angel Donna said running up behind me. Who, I asked her. Her name is Melanie and she is so pretty have you seen her Donna said rambling about how pretty Melanie's hair was. Well no I have not met Melanie but maybe you can introduce me to her I said as you walked into the airport. We went through airport security again and did another headcount. We got our bags and then boarded another bus and with the same people we sat with road up with. OK we have officially made it to Georgia this is an unknown place so don't go around doing anything stupid that will get you killed or land in jail, The soccer coach said yelling at us. Yes ma'am the soccer team said in unison like they were on a military base. The bus started moving in eventually we made it to the hotel.
