Chapter 5: The surprise

Cassian Pov: 

Hey I'm back, so yall remember the surprise well yall gonna have to wait til i give it to her. Anyway we went to the mall to get her some clothes and I got her a new phone and I basically spoiled her b/c after all i know she has been through she needs all the love she can get. So after the mall we went back to the hospital and as we were walking in i saw ole girl being put in a hospital room i just laughed to myself and went to cam's room. As we entered in her room cam was staring at the ceiling and she was playing in Tay's hair while tay was in the bed with her head in cam's lap i took a picture cause lowkey that was cute to me.

"hey cam" she finally looked at us "oh hey guys i couldn't sleep so i let her sleep" i said"that's fine i got you some clothes so you won't have to stay in those weird ass gowns" she nodded and said "thank you prince" i smiled at her. She continued playing in tay's hair so i asked" do you love playing in her hair or" she interrupted" her hair is soft and she likes it" she smiled.

45 minutes later

Tay finally woke her ass up and said"hey when did yall get back" dre answered her "like half an hour ago" then she started whining because cam stopped playing her hair"noo cam keep playing in my hair that feels good as fuck" i just shook my head at her cause she was really whining about it. We all talked about our lives but me and dre didn't tell our full story and ant didn't either we just weren't ready to talk about it.

After a while the doctor came in and said "cam you are going to have to stay here for at least 2 weeks do to your bullet wound in your back we want to make sure you can still walk straight and on your own" and me and the boys are confused cause she called her cam and doctors be calling patients by they last name and shit like that.  "thank you Kells" the doctor said "no problem sweetie but I am going to go get your medicine ok cam" she nodded at her and left the room.

I said " I thought doctors were supposed to say like Mrs. Lane or some shit" and then cam and tay looked at each other and tay spoke but i didn't hear it and then cam looked at me and the boys and said "out of these 5 miserable years i have been in here that i know i am past the double digits at least but nah i been in here over 50 times"  and hearing her say that made me mad all over again. 

This shit is weird to me i used to say fuck females feelings well not just females but everybody cause all the shit i have been through. the 3 most important people in my life passed. I know yall are like 3? but when i was younger before my parents died they used to go on dates and have this lady come watch me and she was the best babysitter her name was Chanelle but i always called her nelle and then when my parents told me she passed i was 8 years old. I miss her like crazy then my parents left me too that just fucked me up badly.

I looked out the window just staring and it was very silent until Tay spoke"dre and ant let's go get something to eat, what do yall want" cam said"my usual" and i was still looking out the window and said"it don't matter" and they left. I can feel cam staring at me but i didn't want to turn around yet.

"prince?" i turned and looked at her"hmm?" she looked nervous"thank you for saving me when you didn't have to" i said "i did have to" the room fell silent again but i was looking in her eyes and i started to notice she looked a little bit like Nelle i mean i only knew the first name of Chanelle but Cam looked alot like her.

Ever since she started to talk  she will talk just not as much as me,the boys and tay she will just keep stuff simple and short .Then she started yawning "girl get you some sleep i'll let you know when the food is here" she nodded her head and went to sleep and i was just admiring her features she is beautiful and smart cause i remember her telling me she had all A's.
