Sirius leaned back in the chair and gave her a half smile. "Am not interrogating you. You can tell me what you think we must know. I will help you in any way I can. Please don't be afraid".

She took a Deep breath and started. "I am Aaradhana, Aaradhana Iyer. I lived in India. Am 28 years old and.... Er... I don't know how and why I reached here."

Sirius listened closely and said," Nice to meet you Ara.... Mm... Miss Iyer. And could you tell me when you attended Hogwarts please?Am sure some of your friends will be around here. Perhaps they can help us to get things clear?"

She faced him and said " I am not a witch "
"WHAT?" Sirius jumped from his seat making her flinch.
Seeing her shaking, he sat back and said in a lower but serious tone " I don't know why you are telling such a huge lie and what makes you think I would fall for it. Am trying to be civil and you're not helping"
She said again " I am not a witch and am not lying."
" And it makes the situation more curious I believe, dear ". Both of them turned to see Albus Dumbledore looking at the girl. Behind him a tired Remus stood looking from Sirius to the girl curiously.
" Albus, she's lying of course. No non-magic human can enter this damned house. It's some ancient bloody magic. I have tried to bring in muggle... Er... Muggles and it never worked "

The girl looked at Sirius for a second and then turned to Albus Dumbledore again," I am telling the truth. You can check in your own ways am sure. Mm... Some Veritaserum perhaps? "

At this, Sirius rounded on her " Ha! A muggle girl talking about Veritaserum now. Really? "

Albus put a hand on his shoulder and said," Sirius, please be patient.. "

Sirius shook off the professor and pointed at the woman." am done being patient with her. She is a liar and she thinks she can.... "

Albus cut him off and said loudly," please stay out of this for now Sirius. I believe her arrival is of importance and am sure she will rather not talk when called a liar again and again "

Sirius looked angry but left the room. Remus made a movement out as she said," So you also think am a liar. Please Mr Dumbledore, leave me. Am not welcome here. "

Remus stopped in his tracks and said" I don't think you are lying. Nor does Sirius. He just thinks you're making fun of him. Don't mind him. He's been shut up for quite a while now ".

Her face shined again hearing this.
" Please be free to talk with us dear, we are here to help each other. Not to judge "Albus told her.

She fumbled with her hands and asked," What year is it? " Remus said 1995. She looked, if possible, more scared and whispered," I have traveled in time... " Albus prompted," which year were you in? "

" 2020"

Remus 's mouth fell open as his eyes jumped to the headmaster. Seeing him silent, Remus mused out loud " It's no wonder you could enter.."

"Am sorry? " she asked.

" Time travel itself is tricky and powerful magic. Traveling such a huge time line and worlds apart.. Of course magic will have influenced you as well. The house must have sensed it on you.  Ancient magic is strange . It must be something of that sort that brought you here " Remus concluded.

" Yeah maybe " she frowned.
" Don't worry. Professor Dumbledore can get you back " Remus consoled her.
She Sank into her chair and said," I can't go back.. "
