A knock on my door broke me from my thoughts I was drowned into while staring outside from the glass doors. I was a bit surprised to hear a knock, I opened the door and found Alysia with food trolley. "Oh, Donna" she sighed and she hugged me, "Why you never told us everything you have been through" I could feel her voice breaking into sobs. I guess she got to know maybe Ric has told Caprice. "Donna I am so sorry that you have been through so much pain. Why you never said anything? We are friends, we are here for you honey. You should have told us." she said stroking my back.

"So, you have a brother? she asked breaking the hug in a soft smile and added "How are you Donna?" "I am fine Alysia" I said to her but I don't know why I hugged her again, I kind of needed my friend maybe. I was scared of breaking down. I am happy to see my brother after years but it has brought all the memories back, the one I have locked in the box somewhere back of my mind. "You are not alone Donna" she said and I smiled and nodded breaking the hug. I felt that, yes I wasn't alone anymore. I have a family now, my family. I am not scared anymore. "I brought you food." She said with a smile. "I am really not hungry. I told her, which was true, my appetite has died hours ago. "I brought food for your brother too. Will you like to eat with him?" she asked and it brought back the times when we used to have meals together. I nodded with smile. "Come then" she said and she took me to his room. She knocked but the door was open, she slid the food trolley and left both of us as I entered his room.

"Hey Chuck" I saw him lying on the bed. His tie was hanging on the night stand along with his waist coat. He was still wearing the rest of his uniform. He saw me and jumped out of the bed and took me in a bear hug. He was crying, we both were. "Hey kiddo. I am so happy to see you again." I broke the hug and made him sit on the bed. I wiped his tears and ruffled his hair a bit. "You are all grown up, huh" I said with a light chuckle. "Grown up enough to notice how pretty your housekeeper is" He winked "Chuck!" I slapped lightly on his arm, he literally came few hours ago and already hitting on Alysia. I shook my head and he laughed a bit too. I served the food.

"Come. let's eat." I said as I fed him the first bite myself. He ate it and fed me too. I smiled at his gesture. "I missed you Princess. I shouldn't have left. I am sorry I am so so sorry" he said between his sobs "Hey, hey Chuck, don't blame yourself for whatever happened to me. I did what I chose to do. It was my choice Chuck, not your fault. " "But you did it for me" he said to me "And I will do it all over again if that means I could give you a good future. There is no price I wouldn't have paid for you kiddo." I said as I kissed his forehead. "But I left you" he said getting up. "I should not have left you" he said while trailing his hands in his hair. "Chuck I don't want you to blame yourself, please, lets move past this. We are together now. Everything will be alright." I said

"Yes it will be Princess, because this time I will not leave you behind." he said looking me in the eye and I could see the honesty in them. "I know" I smiled at him. "Yes, we will leave together this time. I will not let you suffer anymore". he said. "I-I don't understand, what do you mean by we will leave?" I asked him confused. "Yes Princess, you and I, we will leave. I won't leave you here. We will run away" he said and I can see the determination in his eyes. "But Chuck, we can't run from Don" I very well know how that ends and I do not want to run anymore. I finally had a home. Why would I leave? "And plus we don't have to. You don't have worry about your debt. We will figure something out. I will ask Don maybe he could show us the way to repay it without you getting involved in any of the illegal jobs. Trust me I will figure something out" I told him thinking that he might be worried about getting involved in mafia business. "And you will pay the price again. This is what you have figured out Sophie. Like always." he said a bit annoyed. "No Chuck, what are you talking about? Why would I pay any price, I will discuss with Don I am sure he will help us.
