Chapter 19

"And there is nothing going on between you and Yoongi?" Namjoon inquired

Mina shook her head no, not knowing what else to say.

Jin sighed and brought his elbows back onto the table "well..." he thought about what he had just heard "that is quite the story..."

There was a moment of silence before Mina needed to ask the question that had been burning in her mind since the moment she had woken up.

"H-how is Taehyung?" She looked at Jin with doe eyes searching for an answer

Jungkook fist instantly tightened when he thought about what had happened last night.

Jin sighed trying not to get emotional over this "we rushed him to the private hospital last night... he had emergency surgery to stop the internal bleeding... he is recovering in the ICU right now" Jin explained matter-of-factly

"I-I want t-to apologise-"

"Apologise!!??! Apologise??? If apologies worked then why would we need the police?!" Jungkook shouted standing from his chair "you are so lucky I let you live to see another day, if it wasn't for what Yoongi had instructed me to do, you would be IN A BODY BAG BY NOW"

"Jungkook! Sit. Back. Down. Now" Jin glared

Jungkook stared at Mina so furiously she felt like she was going to become dust. He kept staring as he slowly lowered himself back down into his seat "from the beginning I told you guys I didn't trust her, my gut was right. I'm always right." he said at a more normal volume

"Well that makes two of us" Mina replied quietly as she gripped the seat below her

"What was that?" Jungkook snapped a little

Mina didn't trust any of them, that's why she ran in the first place. And they certainly didn't give her any reason to believe that they wouldn't hurt her... not with the body bag she saw the moment she walked in the door.

Mina glared back at him and said with all the courage she had inside of her "I refuse to become a prisoner again"

"A prisoner?!" Jungkook stood back up again, making it very clear to Mina that he had an incredibly bad temper "we weren't trying to keep you here for fun?! Or to hurt you!! We were trying to protect you YOU FUCKING IDIOT"

"Out. Now" Jin order and Jungkook instantly stormed out of the room

"P-protect... protect me? What is he talking about?" Mina searched around the room for answers

Last night before Jimin had entered the room to take care of Mina. Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok, Jungkook and Jimin had all had a meeting deciding what to do about her.

"Right, does anyone know why Yoongi might possibly have made this order to keep her here?" Namjoon asked the group as Hoseok kept trying Yoongi's number only to get no response.

"I already told you" Jungkook gritted his teeth with his arms folded "he is going to kill her- so really why wait, we might as well just take her-"

"Jungkook" Hoseok snapped at him "stop it, you have already killed an innocent person tonight I will not let you kill another"

"She is not innocent!" He protested

"She is innocent until proven guilty, now be quiet" Jin shut him up

"Regardless of Yoongi's true intentions what are we telling Mina to stop her from freaking out and causing more problems for us?" Hoseok asked

"Let's just say we are protecting her. Tell her that Yoongi told us that someone might be out to get her. So we have to keep her safe. If she thinks of us as her safety then she will be really content with staying" namjoon proposed
