Chapter 32

"Everything ok?" Mina chirped with a smile as Yoongi sat back down with them in the cafe

"Yeh he's just an old friend wanting to say hi" Yoongi replied rather dismissively "anyway can we wrap things up now, I wanna get you your phone and get home"

"Oh" Mina looked at him with a little surprise, she wanted to spend more time with him "y-yeh sure"

Mina quickly took one last bite of her sandwich as Yoongi headed out of the cafe, she quickly hurried after him. Taehyung sighed looking down at his half eaten sandwich and then dragging himself out of the cafe.

"This is the one you want?" Yoongi asked after Mina had chose her phone at the electronics store

"Yeh. It's not too expensive and-"

"I thought I told you not to worry about the price" Yoongi replied

"Well, yeh, it doesn't matter. I want this one" Mina replied smiling innocently. Truthfully she had picked it because it was one of the cheapest smart phones in the store.

"Alright, I'll go pay for it" Yoongi took it off of her and headed over to the cashier

Taehyung took the chance to chat with Mina once again. Taking any moment he could get with her alone.

Yoongi paid for the phone and glanced over at Taehyung whispering in her ear and her giggling again.

Yoongi flared his nostrils and clenched his jaw trying to stay calm as sungho's words floated around in his head 'they're sleeping together'.

Yoongi quickly and discreetly opened the phone box and pulled out the SIM card tray putting the chipped SIM card in the phone. Yoongi wanted to see everything she was doing on this phone, and this little SIM card was how he would do it.

He brought the phone over to Mina and handed it to her "there you go, enjoy" Yoongi said as he headed out of the store

Mina was a little shocked at his 'I don't care about you' attitude and took a minute to process things before chasing after Yoongi and then Taehyung reluctantly following.

"Y-you sure you didn't want to look at anything else in the mall?" Mina asked nervously as she buckled her seatbelt in the car

"Nope" Yoongi replied coldly as he started the car

Mina felt pretty crushed. The guy she was to excited to spend the day with was being so cold hearted towards her and it hurt like a bitch.

But Mina wasn't the only one that was hurting. Yoongi was still being haunted by the thought of Taehyung and Mina being together. It tore him apart inside. It's like he couldn't catch a break. Every guy in the house wanted to steal Mina away from him and he was tired of it.

That night Yoongi lay awake in bed again. He couldn't sleep as per usual. But as much as he was mad at Mina right now, he still wanted to see her.

Yoongi headed downstairs and opened the back door to see if she was sat outside again. She wasn't.

Yoongi was a little heartbroken but decided to sit on the deck and wait, still holding onto the hope she might come out again.

Another hour had passed and yoongi realised she wasn't coming out. He looked down at his phone in his hands, trying to tell himself not to do it. But he couldn't help himself. He needed to see.

He quickly clicked onto the app on his phone that would show him exactly what Mina's phone screen looked like.

She was scrolling through social media. Yoongi breathed a little sigh of relief. Watching her phone screen click like on random celebrities. He watched as she was about to click and log into her blog account before a text message notification popped up at the top of the screen.

Taehyung: you up?

You got to be fucking kidding me, Yoongi thought.

Mina tapped onto the message and replied

Mina: how can I help you sir?

Taehyung: I want to see you

Mina couldn't help but smile staring at her phone screen. Yoongi had been so cold to her all day. It was nice to feel wanted. To feel special

Mina: what do you wanna do?

Taehyung: come on, I know you haven't stopped thinking about me since I fucked you.

And there it was. Loud and clear. All the evidence Yoongi needed. Sungho was right. Sungho was always right. She is sleeping with him. She is flirting with him when she should be out here spending time with me, Yoongi was furious. Beyond furious. He didn't want to believe it was true.

His feelings for Mina had grown so strong recently and now this was just another massive blow to his heart. He really didn't know how much longer he would be able to take this pain anymore.

Yoongi got hurt a lot in his line of work, cuts, stabs, bullets, baseball bats, but nothing hurt as much as his heart hurt right now.

He had never felt anything like this before and he wanted it to stop. And he knew how to make it stop.

Yoongi turned off his phone and headed back inside to sleep.

Mina stared back at her phone re-reading taehyung's last message and couldn't help but flush red.

Taehyung: I know I haven't stopped thinking about you

He sent her another text since she hadn't replied. She smiled to herself. But she couldn't help but feel guilty. She wanted Yoongi to text her like this, she wanted Yoongi to make her feel this special... not Taehyung.

Mina: Truthfully I haven't stopped thinking about you either. But I don't think I can fool around with you again

Taehyung: what do you mean? Why?

Taehyung: do you regret fucking me?

Mina: no, of course not. That's not it. I just think... I think I like someone else.... and I want to figure out my feelings first...

Taehyung: you like Yoongi, don't you?

Mina: honestly I'm not sure.
He is always so cold with me.

Taehyung: exactly so why are you chasing after a guy who doesn't even treat you right?

Mina: b-because I just want to see if there is a chance. If there is even a tiny chance he likes me back. I don't want to fuck this up...

Taehyung: ok

Mina: no, tae. Please don't be like that

Taehyung: goodnight Mina.

A tear drop left Mina's eye and she scolded herself. She basically just told a guy who was really into her that she like another man way more. It sucked.

She liked tae. She did. She truly did, it just not the same way she likes Yoongi. She has always liked him ever since that day she jumped out of the window of his apartment.

Mina needed to tell him. She needed to try, even if he rejected her. She needed to try.
