Just Last night, our angel screen taker, Maeve Sun Lively, also known as Sun Xue Li, passed away peacefully in her sleep. At the age of 82, her brilliant soul has left us, may she rest in peace.

This morning, as you've probably seen on the news, people have gathered around Orange County, where her mansion is, passing candles and praying for her safety up to a better place.

"My mother is to be buried next to her husband, Cameron Li", stated well-known actress, Rosalie Sun Lively, this morning when paparazzis bumped into her coming out of her mother's mansion. Cameron Li, also known as Li Bo Kai, which I think we all know about him and Lively's beautiful love story. Lively's body is to be transferred to Beijing, where the two of them will be buried right next to each other like how they have always been meant to be. May the two of them finally reunite and continue their love journey that they have once shared to our eyes.

Born in the big city, Beijing, China, on October 25th, 2002, Lively started her career at a young age. Her father, Joseph Lively, a businessman who originally was born in the U.S., after meeting Lively's mother, Adele Sun (Sun Guan Tong), moved to Beijing for her and there they had Lively.

Lively was first noticed in 2018, when she was still in her C-Pop group. Her dancing (despite her quitting afterwards) was eyes-dazzling. Girls from even now search up her early times and try to dance like her. Lively will never disappear, even now that she is gone, she'll never really be gone.

Started as a dance and singing star in her C-Pop group, called G.W.F., also short for Girls With Fire, they won many awards and they even could have made it to the U.S. if it wasn't when Lively decided to leave the group in 2020. But that choice might have completely changed Lively's life.

Lively made a huge turn in career change, (Or maybe I'm exaggerating) but after being a mentor for dancing (At only the age of 18!) on the reality show, "Descending 99", where ninety-nine girls battle each other to make it among the eight spots in the new upcoming C-Pop group at the time; Lively decided to drop dancing and singing, or C-Pop groups all together, right after the show ended. (Ah, I loved that show, I still rewatch it these days, just to listen to Maeve Lively's awesome guides to dancing. Though I don't dance.) And in 2021, she took onto the career of acting.

Exactly how many films has Lively starred in? I've lost count! But I can bet that most of us have watched every single one of them. Even as only side characters in some films, Lively was able to ensure that our eyes only solemnly focused on her. Oh god, my favorite, and I'm betting also a lot of people's favorite, is definitely the long Chinese drama, "当她遇到他" which translated into English would be "When She Met Him". (Which by the way, I watched it in subtitles, and because of this awesome film, I've been taking mandarin lessons.) She starred in this film with Cameron Li in 2025, and even on screen you can see their breathtaking chemistry. And to no surprise, a few months after the film premiered, they announced that they have been seeing each other for a while. Every girl, even guys, went crazy after the couple, wishing they could find love like the two. I mean who wouldn't want a love story like that? Meeting on a film set and slowly falling in love on screen AND behind screen? I mean, come on!

Lively has got that angelic face and body, if you didn't tell me she was human, I'd say she was a goddess! I think many will agree. But despite having a good look, it was her acting that kept our eyes stuck on the screen. Soon, her acting career went worldwide, and she went from going back and forth between China and America's film industries.
