*yo POV*

Long story short, I haven't slept in a week. Wow. I'm surprised that I still have my sanity. Grimm has been....treating me...how should I say this. Completely unfair and disrespectfully. One minute he says that I can take a break, then within the next hour he comes back saying he needs me to make like, five and deliver them all overnight. Then the next day, he asks me to look after his own child. Like heck, am I not a human?! Honestly, I'm a bit pissed if you know what I mean....but again...I kinda need to stay here. "This is the definition of hell." I think to myself for the fiftieth time. "Think. T h I n k. ThInK." I groan and put my head into my arms. "How many? Fifteen new ones by tonight and delivered by tomorrow morning? Easssssssssy. It wasn't like I was planning to...you know. Sleep." I mumble.

Grimm knocks on my door. Again. "Come in." I say. He walks inside....though his eyes are like, glowing red. "I must be hallucinating." I think. "Have you finished the sign for Deepnest?" He asks. "What? With all the work you've been giving me I haven't even gotten a chance!" I explain. Grimm looks at me dead in the eye. "Excuse me?! I've assigned nothing but easy stuff for you!"
"What?? I've been here long enough for you to know how long I need to make a good sign."
"Well, it's about time you pick up the pace!"
"Maybe, but fifteen overnight?! What do you think I am-"
"You're a human. Humans are supposed to adapt quickly!"
"Are you calling me stupid?!"
"I-"
"That's fucking it. I'm done here."
Grimm's eyes widened. "W-what?! You can't just-" He began. "I haven't slept in a week." I growled. "You can easily find someone else, Grimm." He sighed. "I can't stop you. So go. Go far, far away." Grimm literally yelled. "Fine, fine. At least I can take care of myself then." I said and left the room.
"Well damn."

*Grimm POV*

Was I knocked out? I was probably knocked out. Wait. Why am I in Y/N's room? Where is she? "Y/N?" I said. No response. My eyes widen as a I remember everything that had happened. "That wasn't me! But..it was me! What is happening? Wait. Where did Y/N go. Ohhhhhh shit." I stood up quickly and tried to make sense of what could have happened. "Maybe I was drunk? No. I didn't drink today. Then-oh. Oh no." I put my head in my hands. "Nightmare King."

*Yo POV*

I had managed to steal some food and water and made sure to keep my nail with me. "This is going to be hard." I thought as I sat in a little cave in Greenpath. Tears formed in my eyes. "I'm done for. I can't trust anyone anymore....except for bugs I know and have proven themselves." Hornet had given me fantastic tips, so she's good, Ghost...well I know I can trust them. Quirrel legit saved my ass, Elderbug is...well, Elderbug. Meh. I have plenty of people. "Well at least I can sleep now." I whispered and got into a comfortable position, sleep taking over my body surprisingly quick.

*Le time skip to a couple months later; Nobody's POV*

Y/N had changed a bit. She went from nice, caring, trustworthy, and practically harmless (except if you attacked her) to, cold, self-aware, only nice and caring towards trusted people, on guard at all times, and literally not letting anyone else become a 'friend.'

Exactly what the Nightmare King wanted.
