I don't think Jimin noticed how obvious his stare was, Seulgi could sense it and when she slightly turned her head to look towards him, he looked away.
"I don't think Jimin realises that there's fans right in front of him." Yerim says as she laughs slightly.
"Let the man look at her, he clearly can't take his eyes off of her, even I would be staring if I was dating someone like Seulgi." Seungwan says causing Seulgi to blush.
"Are you confessing to her right now?" Sooyoung joins in, laughing.
"What-"
"I'm telling on you on Yoongi." The two youngest laugh as they joke around with Seungwan causing Seulgi to join in as well.
"You guys, keep it down." They all turn their attention to their leader, Joohyun, and try their best to not laugh.
"Sorry.." Joohyun smiles at them and taps a pouting Seungwan on her back.
Seulgi and Jimin had liked each other for a while, and they had just recently started dating. The first advice given to them by the other couples in their groups, is to not be obvious. The two listened to their advices and couldn't help but wonder if the couples themselves noticed that they are very obvious when it comes to public events, like award shows.
Obviously, Jimin had forgotten about the advice as he couldn't stop staring. This was a habit of his that he had even before they were dating. He hadn't told Seulgi yet, but he first started having feelings for her in around 2015, when the group released Ice Cream Cake. Hoseok was constantly playing the song and even the live stages and because of that, Seulgi was the first girl that Jimin noticed and sooner or later, he found himself watching her fancams. Of course, they hadn't officially met yet at that time, but he fell for her talent. Her dancing is what captured him and then when he heard her voice, he fell even more. At this point, he started watching shows that she appeared on, her cuteness made him fall deeper.
It amazes him that he was even able to be Seulgi's boyfriend, he didn't expect her to like him back and so now his habit of staring has grown to be a bit more obvious. She was just too cute! He found her more entertaining than the award show itself. He noticed that she fidgets with stuff around her sometimes, smiles at random times and gets shy when shes on camera, she even tries to look at him without making it obvious sometimes and it's just so cute.
Same goes for Seulgi. Jimin was someone she started to like when she had seen him perform. He was definitely different off stage, but the presence that he has on stage is what drew her to him. Her eyes were always on him, he performs like it was his last performance, never slacking and gives it his all. Offstage, he's a cutie. When they started to date, he gained a habit of tickling her before kissing her. She doesn't know why he does that, but apparently he says that he's just so happy to see her that tickling her and making her laugh is what makes him happier. He had also gained a habit of patting her head, he says its cause she's cute. He's cute too so she pats his head sometimes.
The two were just so deeply in love with each other, that all they wanted to do was leave the award show and have fun.
"We're going backstage." Jimin looks at Namjoon and the boys as they stand up, glancing towards Seulgi, he notices that she and the girls are standing up also.
Quickly, he stands up and follows his members backstage. Awards tend to do this for some reason, taking groups backstage and making them stay there a while and then allow them to go back to their seats, at least they offer them snacks, but snacks is not what Jimin wants. He looks around the room and tries to look for Seulgi.
Spotting her walking towards the toilets, Jimin follows and makes sure no one is around before hugging her from behind.
"Jimin! You scared me." Jimin responds by tickling her and then kissing her lips.
"Sorry, I missed you." Jimin pouts but smiles when Seulgi pats his head.
"It's only been a few hours, and also, no kissing till after the show."
"What, why?"
"Our makeup will get ruined."
"We can just fix it up before we go back out." Jimin pulls Seulgi back in for another kiss, but before it could turn into something more, the two stop when they hear someone cough.
"I'd appreciate it if I could make my way to the toilets without having a live po-"
"Yerim!" The said girl turns her head and spots her boyfriend coming towards her.
"I was looking for you- oh, Jimin and Seulgi, fancy seeing you two here, in a dimly lit corner right next to the toilets. How interesting." Jimin goes to mockingly reply but is stopped when he hears someone call his name.
"Jimin and Jungkook!" Namjoon comes towards the two couples and looks at the two boys.
"Come on, we gotta go back to our seats again, they're announcing the daesang." The two boys groan as they have to leave their girlfriends once again, but stops when Namjoon says that they will have more time after the awards.
"Where's the rest of the group?"
"Hoseok and Jin already went back to our seats, Yoongi and Taehyung are just quickly catching up with Seungwan and Joohyun and then they're gonna go back." Nodding at their leaders words, Jungkook and Yerim make their way back to where they came from, leaving Jimin and Seulgi behind.
"I guess i'll see you after the show." Jimin says pouting.
"One more for good luck?" Jimin smiles at Seulgi's word and pulls her in for one more kiss.
"Jimin!" Pulling away, Jimin looks at Taehyung and glares.
"I'm coming." Jimin looks back at Seulgi and kisses her once more.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"I love you mor-"
"Just go." Laughing at each other, Jimin couldn't help but kiss her again.
"Okay, I love you. See you afterwards."

I didn't know how to end it. Also, I heard dispatch was exposing a lot of couples on the 1st of Jan, and apparently bts and red velvet are one of the groups that they're exposing.
