"Sissy, are you okay?" Alera Siamer Flood asked worriedly. I plastered a weak smile and nodded.

Wala rin naman silang magagawa kung hindi ako okay. No one can cheer me up. No one can save me from drowning. I'm so hopeless. I'm so pathetic. Napapaisip na nga ako kung bakit ako nandito. Dapat ay nagkulong na lang ako sa kwarto at nagmukmok magdamag.

I looked away and watched the cars outside the window. It's already 9 pm, reason why the surroundings are dark.

"She's definitely not fine so stop asking, Siam." Killian Asher Helix coldy uttered while driving.

"I know, but I can't stop myself from worrying. How come naman kasi na nakipag-break si Ishmael sa kaniya. They're in good terms last day and then yesterday, everything changed! He's so fuckep up! "Walang magagawa 'yang inis mo. We don't know Ishmael's reason so let's not judge him... and besides, hindi ikaw ang jowa kaya shut up ka na lang." Pambabara sa kaniya ni Ichiro Breeze Asper na nakapwesto sa shotgun seat at kumakain ng fries at sundae.

"You're so conyo, Siam. I'm being like this because Ishmael is also my bestfriend slash bro."

"Oh, bestfriend 'slash' bro mo pala, e! So what's his reason behind hurting Caidence?"

"Sissy... I'm sorry for what happened." Avianna hugged me after opening the door at my side.

"I'm fine, don't be sorry." I faked a smile.

"Bro, condolence." Tinapik pa ni Eagan ang balikat ko.

Pinilit kong samaan siya ng tingin tulad ng dati kong reaksyon sa tuwing inaasar niya ako pero mukhang hindi effective. Bumuntong hininga na lang ako atsaka umiwas. Maliit na SUV ang dala naming sasakyan at sa likod silang tatlo nakaupo.

"Siraulo ka talaga. 'Wag mo na ngang alaskahin si Caid, broken na nga 'yung tao." Saway sa kaniya ni Haines.

"Ayos lang ako, guys... and we're going to enjoy later so mas magiging ayos pa ako." I convinced them rather myself.

"Selos ka, p're?" Nagtawanan silang lahat pero nanatili lamang akong tahimik. Unlike Siam na nagsuot ng earphones at hindi na muling umimik.

Nagtama ang mga mata namin ni Asher sa rear view mirror, tipid akong ngumiti bago umiwas ng tingin.

"Kaimbyerna! Someone sabotaged my car! I'm gonna sue whoever it is!" Bungad ni Royalty nang makaupo siya sa tabi ni Haines.

Nagkwentuhan sila buong byahe at halatang excited sa gagawin naming camping.

Akala ko magiging masaya ang one week break namin. Akala ko magiging normal na bakasyon namin 'to. Hindi pala...

"Boss, hawak na namin sila... Siyam ang bilang... Apat na babae, limang lalaki... Areglado, boss."

Iyon na lamang ang narinig ko bago tuluyang lamunin ng kadiliman.

Tatlong taon na ang nakalilipas pero hindi ko pa rin makalimutan ang araw na 'yon. Ang araw kung kailan nagsimula kaming magbago. Ang araw kung kailan kami pinaglaruan para sa isang makasariling pag-aaral.

"Iniisip mo na naman 'yon." Biglang sulpot ni Asher sa harapan ko. Sinimangutan ko siya atsaka pasinghal na inirapan.

"Stop reading my mind." Mataray kong asik.

"Kahit ilang beses kang mag-reminiscence, you won't change the fact that we're not ordinaries anymore." Monotone niyang sabi atsaka rin ako inirapan.

Oh well, he has a point. Starting that day, hindi na kami normal na nilalang. We have this sixth sense, based on my Dad. It's a special ability to know something that cannot be learned by using the five senses.
