                                Payton's POV

I started to question just how far up in the mountains we were as I began to see snow on the ground. My eyebrows narrowed in confusion as I looked all around me, seeing white chunks decorate the rocks and dirt.

"It's already snowing?" I asked, feeling goosebumps on my exposed legs.

"It does up here, and it snows early too." Harry informed as he helped me step over a rock.

"Huh..." I said as I looked around, realizing how beautiful it was.

"I gotta say I haven't been to the snow in a while. I've been super busy with school." I found myself saying as we kept walking straight.

"I like the winter, I prefer it over summer honestly." Harry suddenly said as I glanced at him.

"Yeah? How come?" I asked out of curiosity.

"I believe that's when it's the most beautiful. Because everything is silent and pure." He explained as I exhaled.

"I can see that." I said before we slowly approached a large wide open space.

"This is what I wanted you to see." Harry said before we made our way down.

My heart began to quicken its pace as we walked down a hill before approaching the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. A gasp rolled off my lips as I saw a massive frozen lake before us, molding perfectly in front of 2 large snowy mountains. I couldn't believe my eyes as they admired the beautiful scenery, wondering how on earth Harry found this place.

"I had no idea this was here." I whispered as I stared at the entire view. Harry smiled beside me as he watched my reaction.

"I come here to think. It's a nice place actually. It's peaceful. No one ever comes here to interrupt your thoughts." Harry said as he shoved his hands in his pockets and stared at the lake.

"What else do you do?" I questioned as I looked over at him, seeing my breath evaporate into the air.

"Scream." He said as I raised my eyebrows.

"Scream?" I wasn't sure if I heard him correctly.

"Yeah, it's therapeutic actually." He nodded his head as he stared into the blue icy lake.

"Huh.... I never really had a reason to scream all my anger out." I said as I glanced at the mountains.

"Well you do now. I'm sure I caused you a ton of stress." Harry replied as we looked at each other.

A soft smile appeared on my lips before I looked back at the lake.

I then inhaled deeply before I closed my eyes and thought of everything that has caused me pain. I opened my mouth and released the biggest scream ever, feeling my lungs burn with excitement.

I opened my eyes in shock as I heard my screams echo through the wide open space, wondering if anyone could hear them. I glanced over at Harry in shock as he grinned at me. "Not bad." He said as I looked back at the view.

"That was awesome!" I laughed as I felt adrenaline rise in my bones.

"You try!" I encouraged as I looked back over at him.

"No I'm good." He chuckled.

"Oh come on! I know you didn't bring me here all this way just to do nothing! This is your place! Let it out!" I said as he kicked a few rocks.

"Alright alright. Let me just think of you and how stressed you make me first." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"Ok, like you're the only one who's stressed out of their butt." I replied as he laughed.
