Memories are always special.

Sometimes we laugh by remembering the times we cried,

And we cry by remembering the times we laughed..!!

That's life.

Third person POV
"Aang!" Katara screamed again, louder than the other times she cried his name. This time the water started to glow and something started to rise with a powerful force around it. It was Aang, but not him at the same time. His eyes and arrow tattoos were glowing as water surrounded his lower body. Aang was in the avatar state. Everyone on deck, including Appa, were watching in horror and awe.

Back in Zuko's room, (y/n) woke up feeling some kind of energy source, pulling her to it. She got up and put her hair in a messy ponytail. She then walked with a pace quicker than the wind up to the deck. With every step, she felt her knees going weak from exhaustion. She didn't know what exactly she was going against, but she knew that she needed to be prepared for what comes her way.

When she got there, she was astounded by the sight of a big bison on one side of the ship and a tall column of water at the other side. What really got her shocked was seeing someone who she believed was gone. Her brother, Aang, being in the avatar state. She felt the source being stronger and she started to feel more weak.

Zuko noticed that (y/n) was on the deck, but something was happening to her that he wouldn't understand. He saw (y/n) closed her eyes and when she opened them again, they were different. They were filled with rage, happiness, fear and bravery. "Zuko! Why the hell is my brother in the avatar state?!" Zuko was startled by the sound of her voice. It sounded like she was a completely different person.

(Y/N) felt worried for her brother, this would be his first (or second) time he was in the avatar state. She knew she had to get to him somehow. 'How can I do that? Wait...' (Y/N) remembered something only Aang could remember. She had to show him that she was there and they are okay.

She walked up to the rail, not paying any mind to anyone that she walked past. She made it to the rail closest to Aang and his water-nado. She took a deep breath and shouted for her brother, he turned with his glowing face looking at her with anger. She took another breath in and started to try to get her brother to remember. "Aang! It's me, your sister, (y/n). You have to remember me." She took in another breath, readying herself to sing.

(Y/N): Remember me

Though I have to say goodbye

Remember me

Don't let it make you cry

Katara and Sokka were still fighting the soldiers with some of Appa's help, until they heard someone singing and saw a slightly older version of Aang but with hair and no tattoos and she was wearing a fire nation uniform. They looked between the two and saw the many resemblances Aang and this stranger had. (Y/N) used her waterbending to bring the attention from her brother and her airbending to get closer to him, and dodge the attacks her glowing brother brings back.

"Woah. Who is she?" Sokka gasped in awe as he watched the girl in fire nation garments. Katara watched as well, finding who (y/n) was to Aang. "Sokka! This is Aang's older sister. He told me about her before we went penguin sledding." The watertribe boy ignored what his younger sister said, he was still staring at (y/n) with amazement.

(Y/N): For if I'm far away

I hold you in my heart

I sing a secret song to you

Each night we are apart

Zuko's POV
I walked up to Iroh in awe as I watched (y/n) waterbend her way towards her brother, she went back with firebending, still singing as she gained to decrease the distance between the two. I was confused with what she was, so I asked uncle "Uncle, I thought she was just an airbender. How is this possible?" Iroh looked to the two airbenders while brushing his beard, "I don't know, but I believe we would all know in the future."

I looked over to the watertribe peasants and saw the boy staring at her with extreme adoration. I couldn't help but feel jealous. 'Ugh, why do I feel like this? I don't even know her well!' I heard a crash and turned to see the deck covered in snow! Can this day get any better? I watched as (y/n) got closer to the avatar.

(Y/N): Remember me

Though I have to travel far

Remember me

Each time you hear a sad guitar

(Y/N)'s POV
Glowy Aang kept giving me attacks as I sang, but that wouldn't stop me from getting my little brother back. I got to his level and hugged him like he was going to disappear in my grasp, seeing his glow was fading. We were going down onto the deck slowly, as we lowered down, I heard a little voice that belonged to my brother "(Y/N)?" I nodded. "I missed you." I pulled away and looked at him, seeing his eyes glossy and on the verge of tears. "Aang..."

(Y/N): Know that I'm with you

The only way I can be

Until you're in my arms again

Remember me
