"A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder."

(Y/N)'s POV

Miku climbed her way to the middle of the vessel's deck, and I can see that Iroh was telling the crew about Miku and me. 'Why are they acting like they haven't seen a dragon or an airbender before?' I thought to myself as I landed. I delivered myself on the ship's rail and walked on it thinking about what I remember last before waking up with Princey by my side.

"Ma'am." A deep voice from one of the uniform officers broke me out of my thoughts. I hummed in response as I jumped down onto the deck of the ship. "General Iroh has requested for me to escort you to your room." I nodded to him, he moved to the side to let me past. I looked around me, trying to find where the hell the rooms were kept.

"Can you show where it is, please?" I nervously chuckled while rubbing the back of my neck. The soldier walked past me and asked for me to follow him, which I did. We were making our way to the door that was attached to a tower with smoke clouds coming from the top of it. I walked a few steps and I looked at Miku and motioned for her to follow me. She walked to me and shrunk so she was small enough to fit in my backpack, and as usual, it worked.

We walked through corridor after corridor after corridor. It looked dark and eerie the more we walked through them. While we walked, I saw the soldiers walk past us and look at me with curious eyes. It made me slightly uncomfortable, but I shook it off. I've decided to talk to him, to ease my nerves. "So, what's your name?" He stopped then gestured for me to go into the room. I turned to the door and was about to open it, until he spoke, "My name is Marcus." I looked at him and gave him a smile and bowed to him. "Nice to meet you Marcus, my name is (y/n). Thank you for showing me to my room." He bowed back, then left me alone.

I stepped into the room and it was quite plain, but I think I can put a few of my things around and then it can feel as if I'm at home. "Hey, Miku, you can come out now." I spoke softly so only she could hear it. She jumped out of my bag and grew a couple of feet. She climbed onto the bed and slept in a circle. I quietly sat next to her, it was so comfortable that I don't think we would want to leave to find my brother. 'Where are you Aang?' I asked in my head, knowing that I won't get an answer until the morning.

The sound of the metal knocking made me jump out of my skin, I must've been trapped in my thoughts. I gently left the bed with the sleepy Miku on it and moved to the door. I opened the door and found the same old kind man that helped me out of the iceberg with princey, I believe his name is Iroh.

"Hello, miss (y/n). Sorry to intrude, but I just wanted to know if you need some warmer clothes." I looked at him and gave him a nod and a smile, I feel like me and him will bond quite well. He handed me the garments and asked me if I wanted to go with him to see princey. I said yes, only because he is on a balcony and I like to see the view it offers. Iroh told me he would be waiting outside for me for when I'm done.

I got dressed and showed myself off in the mirror, making different poses, just for fun. My outfit was mostly red with gold trims around the edges of it, a gold belt was around my waist with a red fire nation insignia on it. I put my hair up mostly down, but a little bun was at the top with a gold fire symbol at the front of it. I still had my original shoes on because Iroh didn't give any, probably because he didn't know what shoe size I am. 'Wait. How did he get female fire nation clothing when this whole ship is full of MEN?!' I'll just have to ask when I get the chance.

I opened the door and meeted up with Iroh, who smiled at me and the clothes he picked out. "Okay, one question. How the hell do you have women clothing on a ship full of men?" He just laughed, making me confused. "I will never tell my secrets. Are you ready to go?" He brought his arm up and I hooked my arm around his and started to walk the halls again.

"You look truly lovely, red really suits you." he broke the silence between us, I looked at him and moved my head back to the view of the stairs in front of me. "My mother was a firebender, so I would get clothes from both the air and fire nations." He grabbed my hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. We walked up the stairs, I sighed. "I miss them." I felt tears threatening to fall, but I didn't let them.

"If you don't mind me asking but," He paused asking himself if he should or not but did anyway, "How did you and your animal companion end up in the iceberg?" I thought about if I trust him enough to tell him. Before I answered, I felt the cold breeze gently hitting my face. We made it to the balcony, and the view was amazing with the sea and the sky being the same colour with the moon and stars to provide the light of the night. I saw someone was also on the end, with their ponytail waving along with the direction of the wind, it was Princey, or Zuko.

"Hello, Prince Zuko. I thought you headed off to bed," Iroh sounded slightly concerned for his nephew, 'Princey is so lucky to have an uncle like Iroh.' Zuko slightly jumped by the sound of Iroh's voice, but he slowly turned around and looked at Iroh, not paying any attention to me. "I couldn't sleep, so I came out here for some fresh air." He said, I can tell he was lying, but I think Iroh did as well. "Well, me and miss (y/n) came out to look at the view the night has brought us."

Zuko looked at his uncle in question, then moved his gaze to me. I could've sworn I saw his eyes widen by the sight of me for a second. "When did you give her clothes? And how the hell did you get female clothing on a ship full of men?" He asked, clearly confused. "I asked him the same question and I didn't really get an answer that we would ever understand." I walked over to stand next to him as I spoke, looking out onto the breathtaking view.
