(Y/N)'s POV
I watched as Miku made herself comfortable for sleep as I was getting ready for dinner. Iroh came over earlier and told me that he wasn't going to join us at dinner for a 'nap', but before he left he gave me a dress that he forgot to give me after the pirate meeting. When he gave it to me, I thought of wearing it for dinner. But why would I want to wear this - a dress that you would wear to a date - for dinner that would be just me and Zuko, but NOT a date, JUST dinner.

But I still feel like I should wear it, to make me feel less of a mess than I already am with the nightmares and with my secrets from my past. Maybe that's why I feel like I need to wear it.

Yeah, I think I'll wear it.

Third person POV
Zuko was now panicking on what to wear that could impress (y/n) and how the hell he would keep his new found feelings for her on the down low. He would need his Uncle's help now more than ever, but for now he was alone.

And what scared Zuko more is if he told her his feelings, would she leave like her mother, or stay and keep each other safe and happy? He hoped it would be the latter, but he also hopes he would soon find the courage to tell her before she could leave or...something worse happens to them. 'But how would I do that?' He thought, but all of his worrying thoughts stopped the moment a knock was heard on his door. But he thought it was his imagination, at least until he heard it again.

Zuko walked to the door and hesitantly opened it, he mentally hoped it wasn't the very girl he was thinking about earlier. Lucky for him, it was just one of the guards informing Zuko that dinner was ready. "I'll be there in a moment, but in the meantime, escort (y/n) to the dining room." he said in a formal yet commanding tone towards the guard. Once the guard left, Zuko went back to his worried thoughts on what to wear and what to say to her.

I finished getting ready with my dress, which was mostly red with black on my abdomen and upper arms and collarbone.

(If you don't like you can change if you want to)

I styled my hair into a messy yet neat bun and put some light makeup on, which was also a gift from Iroh, when I heard a knock on the door along with a voice saying "(Y/N). It's me, Marcus."

I quickly walked to the door, seeing Marcus with his helmet off. His dark brown hair in a tight bun, which makes him look more intelligent than others. "Prince Zuko has requested me to escort you to the dining room." He said, moving out of the way for me to walk out, which I did, and we walked next to each other to the dinner room.

We walked for a few moments before the silence between us was broken by Marcus. "Mind telling me why you're dressed up? Is it maybe the fact that you and Zuko are dining together, alone perhaps?" he smirked at me as we walked.
