"Oh really!? HAHAHAHAHA I can feel the second hand embarrassment" Huening Kai bursted out laughing after y/n finally finished the whole conversation she had with Taehyun a while ago. And she even told him how the conversation started.
"What did Taehyun said? For sure he's embarrassed as hell' Huening Kai couldn't help but to grin evilly, imagining how his bestfriend used to react everytime he's embarrassed over something.
"I didn't told him. I just let the conversation flow" Y/N answered before shrugging and sipping an orange juice.
Huening Kai stopped laughing when she said that. His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes diverted quickly to y/n who's now smiling crazily after sipping some juice.
"You should have tell him! He might assume that you actually like him" he uttered with an undefined reaction shown in his face.
He saw how y/n dreamingly rested her chin on top of her palm while even looking up as if she's daydreaming again, "Well, I like him tho"
Huening Kai's eyebrows narrowed, as a sarcastic laughter was released from his mouth, that made y/n looked at him displeased.
"Impossible. You can't just like someone you just met!" He nervously laughed.
"Well, not for me" Y/N shrugged proudly as a smirk crept on her face when Huening Kai's smile suddenly faded in an instant.
His face became blank, couldn't possibly think that this girl infront of him experienced love at first sight with his best friend.
"Then that's not love or liking. That's just... having interest" as he stated his point, his voice became low and weak as if he's no that sure to what he actually said.
y/n averted her gaze up to Huening Kai who's now looking at nothing in particular after saying words that made y/n realized that maybe he's right... or at the contrary maybe he's not?
"I'm going to like him either way" y/n shrugged, highly know herself that anytime soon, she will fall for Taehyun even more. Well that's only if Taehyun got close with her more.
"He's not even your soulmate, duh" y/n shifter her eyes narrowing it with frustration at Huening Kai.
"Yah! Why can't you just support me?"
"If ever he's really your soulmate, then you don't need me now?" he asked in a very serious tone that made y/n's eyebrows went back to normal for seeing him that serious.
y/n was left speechless at the sudden question Huening Kai threw. It felt so dramatic and serious that she doesn't know how to response to that question.
"see? You don't even treat me as a friend then you expect me to support you? What are we? You're not my friend, Y/N! You're just another damn desperate woman who uses me to find their match!"
y/n's ears suddenly get sting. Those words Huening Kai threw gave impact to a sensitive girl infront of him.
She can admit that she doesn't like Huening Kai at the first meeting with him, she barely knows him that well. But since she have to work with him, she grew that friendship development with a guy that she least expected to be friends with.
"Really coming from a guy who take money and take advantages to those people who are DESPERATELY wanting to find their match?" Y/n couldn't help but to fought back another argument that can lead into a big fight. But she had gone enough of herself that he calls her a desperate woman.
Huening Kai's eyes squinted at the sudden retorted back of hers, he was about to speak and defend himself too, but he was too late when they got disturbed by none other than y/n's brother, Yeonjun.
"Do you guys want me to take knives in the kitchen, and let both of you to stab one another?" Yeonjun asked while crossing his arms.
He can definitely smell the tension between the two, although he just went downstairs about seconds ago and saw y/n yelling at Huening Kai.
Y/N only rolled her eyes annoyingly, while Huening Kai did the same and even crossed his arms frustratedly.
"I will no longer find your match! Just go get old as an old maiden!!" Huening Kai yelled childishly, as he grabbed his backpack that was on top of the table then rushed towards the door.
"Well go! I don't need you anyway!" Y/n yelled back, before hearing the door shut harshly by the raging Huening Kai walking outside.
Yeonjun was about to say something but he got interrupted when someone was running downstairs that made him and y/n looked up, seeing Beomgyu rushing down the stairs while holding onto his stomach.
