Betty POV
Everyone left once dinner was over. And to be honest I think it was because of what Archie did. Now Jug and I are in bed after a shower.
"Today was weird" Jughead says.
"Yeah tell me about it" I say and lay my head on his chest.
"Well I guess it's time to tell why I'm blind" he says.
"Okay" I say and grab his hand.
"It happened almost 3 years ago. Archie forced me to go to Veronica's Christmas party..."

Jughead POV
"Hey Jug" Archie says walking into my room.
"What do you want Archie?" I ask him.
"Veronicas having a party and-"
"Nope I'm not going to a party" I say and continue writing.
"Jug come on dude. Please just this once" he asks.
"No I have to write. I'm trying to get published by next year. I'm almost done." I say.
"Well if your almost done you could come to the party" He says.
"By almost done I mean I have almost 5 chapters left. And I've had some really bad writer's block. " I say.
"Please just do me this one solid Jug" He pleads and sits on my bed.
"If I say yes will you leave me alone" I ask.
"Yes" he says.
"Fine I'll go now leave my room" I say.
"It's at six I'll drive you" he says and leaves my room.

"Hey Archie let me drive" I say as we leave the party.
"Dude I'm not that drunk I can drive a couple of blocks" he says.
"But you still had drinks." I say.
"I'm fine Jug, just get in the car" he says and I get in hesitantly.
While we were driving we get to an empty rode.
"Jug look" Archie says and starts speeding.
"Archie what are you doing? Archie slow down." I say.
"Come on Jug I'm just joking around" he says. And then another car comes out of nowhere on our right side.
"Archie watch out!" I yell and he crashes into the car. I hit my head and feel the car flip over.
I couldn't move my body or see. Felt like I was paralyzed but I could hear.
"Jug? Hey Jughead. Come on man stop playing wake up." Archie says and shakes me.
"Jughead!" He screams and my ears start ringing.

"And then I woke up in the hospital. And I couldn't see anything. I heard my dad but I couldn't see him. I started panicking and my dad was trying to calm me down. That's when they told me I was blind." I say and take a deep breath.
"Jug I'm so sorry" Betty says.
"The funny thing is Archie never apologized about two things. One about making me blind and two about being in Mexico when I woke up in the hospital." I say.
"Mexico? Why was he in Mexico?" Betty asks.
"He went on vacation with Veronica. She didn't even know I was in the hospital. She told me that if she knew she would of stayed." I say.
"This is making me not like Archie anymore" Betty says.
"Well don't hate him because of me Betty." I say.
"Okay but I'm not promising to not give him dirty looks. But there's no way you can see again?" Betty asks.
"No... there isn't, can we go to sleep now?" I ask.
"Yeah we can" she says.
