Chapter 37- How are You Not Tired?

Betty POV

"Here we are in Riverdale" Jughead smiles and squeezes my thigh.

"Finally can you drive us to pops first?" I ask.

"When have I ever said no to food B" Jug laughs.

"That's very true. My parents are going to be so surprised by you being able to see and our engagement" I say as he pulls into the Pops parking lot.

"Hmm let me see it?" He asks and I hold up my left hand.

"It's pretty" he grabs my hand and kisses it.

"Can we get food now?" I ask.

"Yes babe let's go feed you" he smirks and kisses my nose.

After Pops we drove to the hotel to drop off our stuff and now we are at my Parents house.

"Okay you ready" I ask Jug.

"Yes I'm ready B" he says and I ring the doorbell.

"Betty I didn't know you guys were coming" my mom says and hugs me and Jug.

"Hi we wanted to surprise you guys" Jug says.

"Come inside" she says and we walk in.

"Betty Jug!" My sisters says and run to us. Alexa is 11 and Leila is now 5.

"Hey girls nice braces Lexa" Jug smiles.

"Thanks...wait you can see?!" Alexa asks and Jughead smirks at her.

"Oh my gosh mom dad Jughead can see!" She yells.

"Juggie couldn't see?" Leila asks and Jug picks her up.

"Nope but he got a surgery so he can now" I say.

"I missed you BB" She smiles.

"I missed you too" I smile.

"What's all the noise?" My das says walking down stairs

"Betty's here and Jughead can see" Alexa says.

"Oh congrats on that Jug" My dad says.

"Thanks" he smiles.

"No I can officially give you the heartbreaking talk" my dad says.

"I think it's a little to late for that" Jughead says.

"What do you mean?" my mom asks.

"We're engaged" I smile and my mom screams and hugs me.

"Oh my goodness my baby's getting married" she cries.

"Mom don't cry. Fuck I'm crying now" I say and wipe the tears off my cheek.

"You're marrying an overly emotional girl you sure Jug?" My dad says.

"Hey" I frown.

"I love you though" My dad smiles.

"So when is the wedding?" Alexa says.

"We want to wait a little before planning a wedding" Jug says.

"And we don't want a big wedding either" I say.

"Okay let's go into the living room and talk about everything that happened" My mom says.

"You ready to go?" I ask walking into the living room where Jug is.

"Uhh yeah" he's holding some little squares of paper in his hand.

"What is that?" I ask and point to his hand.

"Pictures of you you dad have me" and he smirks.

"Oh shit he gave you the—"

"Good ones" he smirks.

"Gosh dang it" I groan and he laughs.

"Come on babe" he smiles and we go to the hotel.

Jughead POV

We were only in Riverdale for a few days. Betty and I have officially made a decision to move to Riverdale next year. Since my dad is moving there next month.

I'm in the living room with Sweet Pea and Reggie. Betty had a call with her manager and she had to answer some emails so she kicked me out because I was going to 'distract her'. It's not my fault I'm this beautiful.

"You guys fucking suck at this game" I laugh.

"No you're just really good" Sweet pea says.

"Hmm that's true"

Reggie sighs and pauses the game. "Can we play something else like...uhh Fortnite"

"Fortnite? What the hell is that?" I ask.

"Oh yeah he definitely won't beat us at it" Sweet Pea says. Then we hear Betty scream from her room. We freeze and look at each other. Then we go to our room.

"Baby you okay" I say and open the bedroom door. Betty is sitting on our bed with her laptop open smiling.

"I'm going on the Fallon show" she squeals.  I go over and hug her.

"That's great babe" I say and kiss her.

"I'm so excited" she smiles and squeezes me.

"So when are you going on?" Sweet pea asks.

"In two weeks" she says.

"I'm so proud of you baby"

"Thanks" she smiles at me.

"Okay so we're gonna go" Reggie says.

"Use protection" Sweet Pea smiles and they leave the room.

"I know Pea" I call out.

Im laying in bed right now. Betty and I just got out of the shower she's brushing her hair in front of the mirror.

"Jug you know they're gonna ask about us right?" Betty says.

"Uh what do you mean?"

"Like if I'm in a relationship or not?"

"You can tell the people about our engagement Betty. You can tell them about if you want too" I say.

"You sure?" She asks and sits next to me. She's only wearing her towel.

"Yep. Now come here" I say and pull her on me.

She squeals and laughs "Jug we fucked for like 2 hours straight. How are you not tired?"

"Because I'm like a horny teenage boy babe, now come on I'll be gentle" I smirk she rolls her eyes and kisses me.

Today Betty's interview aired. It's was nice she was very adorable. Of course they asked if she was single and she told them that she was engaged to me.

"I'm so proud of you baby"I say and kiss her cheek.

"Thanks I feel famous" she smiles.

"You are babe" I say.

"Jug" she whines.

"Baby you are. People love you. We got attacked by paparazzi yesterday. And if you didn't know paparazzi people don't go after normal people." I say.

"I love you Jug" she smiles.

"I love you too B. Now come on off to bed my little super star" I say and she laughs.
