5. My Mentor

When we reached there the scene we saw got me mind boggling.
As Mikael my wretched grandfather stood there planning to kill my father. The scooby gang asked bex if she wished to take revenge on dad for what he did to Ester. Truly I think she deserved it.
Which got me more shocked was bex agreed that dad did nothing but deserved death. Now I am trying to figure out how can I stop them to kill my dad because if I failed it would eventually result in destroying my existence. I am certainly not a fan of that.
Then I got a mind blowing idea which would not only help me but also them.

After they got dad to come back to Mystic falls they, the scooby gang left. Leaving me and bex to wait for Mikael to wake up.

He woke up with a gasp.

"Finally. Took you long enough." Bex comments
"Rebekah" he started but was cut off by bex
" Stop whatever fatherly rubbish you are thinking, save it. It doesn't matter anymore." She told him.
"I see. Where is the dagger?" He asked.
"Elena has it so forget your plans to use it on me." She replied.
He was about to say something but i cut him off.

"You know I still can't see the resemblance!" I said.
" Who are you?" " What do you mean?" He asked me with a sneer whereas bex asked me with confusion at the same time.
I ignored both of them and continued.

" You know before I came her I use to have a mentor. She was amazing. " I said.
" How is that relevant to what what you just said ?" Bex asked me.

" The only one she truly loved was her father. She use to tell me about her father you know." I continued.
" How is that relevant to whatever you said before?" Mikael asked impatient.
" She used to tell me about him you know. How he loved her more than anything, how he use to call her his ray of sunshine." I continued genuinely smiling at Mikael.

But Mikael being Mikael pushed me against the wall slightly chocking me. " What are you saying?" He aske me impatiently.
"You named your sword Rathul, after the early morning sun." I replied.

Mikael, stunned and overwhelmed by this response, slowly lets go of her neck.

"Its hilt was golden, like the color of her hair. You said it would remind you of her while you were in battle. That she'd be by your side no matter how far afield you traveled." I continued.

" It can't be...." Mikael said quietly
"The night before you left for war, you christened that sword with goat's blood. When she awoke, you were gone. She never saw you again." I finished.

" How do know this?" He asked overwhelmed. While bex was watching this in shock with wide eyes.

" As I said she was my mentor. She taught me most of the things I know." I replied
"This is not possible it's been a thousand years!" He shouted.
" What does she mean father? What is it that you are so stressed?" Bex asked. But Mikael ignored her .

"You're lying " he shouted
" She spent centuries trying to find you so that for once she can meet you again, talk to you again." I said getting emotional remembering all the stories aunt Freya told me about the loving father she knew him as.
" Where is she? Is she even alive? " He asked desperately.
" Yes she is very well alive but right now she is in a sleep that allowed her to be alive this long." I replied smiling at him as his fatherly love can be seen.

" Why would she even mentor you and why would you help her?" He asked.
" She mentor me because we belong to the same coven, we share the same curse of being the firstborn with devastating powers. I owe her a lot because if she wouldn't have taught me how to control my powers I would have died." I replied calmly

" Tell me where is she?? TELL ME !!!" he shouted at my face.
" I'll tell you the exact location where she is right now but in return you won't harm your family, you won't kill klaus!" I told him.
" No it is not possible I will kill klaus. " He stated.
" Why are you determined to kill him?" I asked him slightly shouting.

" He killed my wife, his own mother!!" He shouted at my face
"Yes the same wife who bargained her own daughter to Dahlia like she was a piece of meat ! " I shouted at him.
" What? " Both him and bex asked confused.
" Yes your wife was the one who gave her away to Dahlia in return for her fertility to have more children." I told them.

" WHAT !!" Both of them shouted with shock.
" Yes and for the record Your daughter hates her and trust me she told me if she had the chance she would've killed her on her own." I replied.

Both of them fell in silence. After some time Mikael agreed on the condition and told that on homecoming he will make peace with klaus and I told him that after he makes peace with him I'll give him the address but he must not return her as she will be in sleep for two more years. We agreed that whatever happened here will be kept a secret from everyone even their family. Both of them agreed to tell their family about her when she wakes up.

Truly it will be shock to everyone that the Mikael made peace with klaus. I may have changed the history but I am happy that aunt Freya would be really happy which would be more than enough for me to do it.

As we got out of the house.

" Now would you like explain me what the hell happened here? And how on earth did you managed to get father make peace with Nik?" Bex asked me.

"Let's go home then I'll tell you." I smirked at her.
