14. Descendent of the Hollow

Hope's pov

"So..... Josie blasted us off with a spell that sent us into the past, and we are right now in mystic falls where everything is revolving around Elena and her blood and you are friends with your family, quite close friends and the Scooby-Doo gang hates you because you help your family but no one knows that they are your family?" Lizzie said

"Yep! That sums it up. Also aunt Bekah knows some of the bit." I laugh at her confusion.

We have been talking for a long time explaining her.

"So what are we going to do now?" She asks.

"I don't know! Now that you are here, we should find a way to go back or see something to do as we might even risk our existence just by being here." I reply

"Yeah you are right! God! Why me?" She says looking up

"Well right now I need to go to my family. Dad called and told me come it was something important. So I'll be back in a few hours." I say

"Yeah and leave me alone? " She sarcastically replied

"Don't worry I'll be back " I say and leave to go home.

I reach the mansion and me and dad starts having breakfast.

"Thank you for the complement last night darling. But I must ask who are you?" Kol comes and asks me.

" Kol this is Hope Marshall a really smart witch. Who also happens to be a good friend of ours." Dad replies him

"Where is bex?" I ask

"Don't know little witch. But she has been acting really weird." Dad tells me as kol agrees with him.

"Acting weird? How?" I curiously asked

"Like for example she didn't stabbed Nik this time after being daggered instead she apologized the-" but he gets cuts off by someone.

"Then she was angry with me which she never is. I really miss the girl she was" a woman with blond hair says.

"Excuse me. Who the hell are you?" I ask

"She Hope is our wretched mother who miraculously came back from dead now wants us to be family." Bex tell me as she comes from behind her.

I stood there for a moment comprehending what she said. I was in shock as the woman in front of me was my grandmother who tried to kill me before my birth, who ordered the witches to sacrifice me minutes after I was born, who sold my auntie Freya as a slave to her own sister and my fate would've been same had dad not killed her.

"And you believed her?" I shouted with shock.

"Of course not! I'm just waiting for her to show her true colours so that this time it will be me who kills her." Bex's answer shocking everyone but me as I stood there with a smirk.

"I think we should have a nice peaceful breakfast." Dad says trying to lighten the mood.

" Who would've thought that Nik has to be the peace maker. The world is really ending." Kol says making all of us laugh.

All of us takes a seat and starts having breakfast.

"I am so happy to a have a meal with all my children after a very long time along with a good friend of my children." Esther says as she looks at all of us.

"I'll have you know mother that hope is as good as family. After all she did helped us with many problems." Eli says making dad and bex agree with him.

"Well then I hope I get to know you better. Also you are a witch I might be able to help you with new spells and all." Esther says.

Me and bex looks at each other and then starts laughing.

"Oh my god she thinks she can teach you something." Bex says laughing.

This makes everyone look at her in shock.

"Oh please! There is nothing you can teach me. You are not even powerful." I say still laughing.

Esther at this gets really angry .

"You insolent child! You dare question my power! Don't forget it was me who created the world's first vampires." She shouted at me.

This made everyone tense except me and bex.

"Yeah the spell you stole from qetsiyah. And don't forget you even fucked that up. " I reply making everyone shocked

"Don't you dare talk to me like that!" She shouted as she starts doing a spell to harm me which made Nik and Eli to come at their feets and help me. But I was faster and I raised my hand to pin her against the wall with an invisible force along with diffusing her spell against me.

"Don't you dare raise your voice on me. Besides you are not even strong enough to even put a scratch on me." I smirk at her

"How? You can't be that powerful. " She chocks up.

"I am Hope Marshall. The first witch descendent of the Hollow in past fifteen hundred years and you are nothing compared to me. Not in skill and definitely not in power." I spat at her as her eyes widen.

"Come on bex we need to talk." I tell her as she leaves with me with an amused and confused look on her face.

Third person pov.

Hope leaves with Rebekah and everyone were still in shock on how powerful their friend was that she even overpowered their mother.

"Descendent of the Hollow. Mother what does that mean?" Kol asks.

"The Hollow. It is said that the hollow was a really powerful witch fifteen hundred years ago. Fearing her growing hunger for more power her own tribe killed her but before her death she casted a  powerful spell that was fuled with her own death. That spell allowed her to come back to life given specific circumstances. That spell also cursed the group of people who killed her." Esther replied.

"What kind of curse?" Klaus asks

"Funny that it is you are asking Niklaus. After all you also bear the same curse." She replies

" The curse of the werewolves. You mean Hope is the descendent of the witch who created the werewolves." Elijah asked astonished.

"That is not all. It is said that the ancestors of New Orleans are still trapping the spirit of that witch. Otherwise she will unleash hell upon earth if she ever gets here. If that girl is really her descendent then she is really powerful." Esther says.

"How powerful mother?" Klaus asks

"I have no idea." She solemnly replied

This made their eyes widen as their thought ran million per minute. They all were curious on how powerful she must be. They all made a mental note to never be on her bad side.

While Esther decided that she will kill Hope along with her children.
