Slowly, but surely, the mark above my head began to disappear.

The god of madness huh? If I recall correctly that should be Dionysus. If this was the me of before, I wouldn't have known who that was. However, ever since my return to the white room, the information forced into me nearly doubled.

The kids kneeling, noticing that the mark disappeared, began to get up and continue with their activities.

"Sorry about that, it's a tradition to kneel when a god makes his child known. It was awkward for me too at first" Percy said

"You know, for someone who just found out they're half god, you're taking it pretty well" Grover stated with a confused tone

"I'm just good at handling unexpected situations" I answered

Now that I had their trust, I still needed one more question answered.

"I heard about it before, but what exactly is this battle you speak of?" I asked

"Well, you know about the Titan war right?" Percy answered my question with another one

"I believe it was when the Olympians overthrew their parents right? They took their throne and banished them into Tartarus." I said

"Well that's the gist of it, and it seems a few of them were able to escape, now they want revenge" Percy said with a grim tone

This situation just became more absurd

"They've amassed a large army on their side, thousands of monster have started an assault on Manhattan" Grover carried on

But, why Manhattan? Is it because it's the most densely populated?

"The Empire State Building is Olympus if you were wondering, great place really" Percy said

You know that just raises even more questions right?

Before I could ask for more information, a girl with spiky black hair and blue eyes interrupted our conversation. She vaguely resembled a punk goth version of Horikita, how terrifying.

"Percy, their forces are still gathering at every bridge and tunnel. Kronos isn't the only Titan here anymore either, my hunters spotted a huge man in golden armor radiating power only a Titan could." She finished off

"What amazing news, did you bring anymore with you?" Percy said sarcastically

"Percy this is serious, we've managed to seal off the subway tunnels but we don't know how long that'll hold on for. It seems Luk-" she cut herself off, as if trying to correct herself.

"I mean, Kronos, can't fight for too long. He has to take breaks after every fight to control his power"

So they were going to fight not only thousands of monsters, but also the leader of the Titans; Kronos. It's official, these kids were destined to die.

"I think they'll be attacking at night, a lot of their forces become more powerful in the dark" Grover bleated

As if to agree, the other 2 nodded.

Finally noticing me, the girl turned to look at my face. Her eyes seemed to radiate lightning. Was it jus the way the light hit her eyes?

"Whose this kid?"

"His name is Mike, he WAS unclaimed a few minutes ago. Dionysus just took him in though"
Grover told her

"Ooooo, I feel bad for you kid" the girl stated with a smirk on her face

"Thals, don't scare him. Dionysus is a perfectly fine par-" No longer being able to keep a straight face, Percy burst into laughter. Soon the one called Thals followed.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's just.... Mr. D isn't exactly a parent people would want" Percy said while wiping the tears off his face

Great, even here my parent is considered terrible.

"Well, not like we can really judge. Almost everyone here holds something against their parent" Thals said

"I don't" Percy said while wiggling his eyebrows

"Shut it Kelp head, not everyone is as lucky as the chosen one" she said regaining her smile.

"So then who are your parents Percy and Thals?" I asked. Thals was a pretty strange name.

"Please don't call me that, my names Thalia. To answer your question, my father is the god of drama, Zeus" Thalia answered smugly

I don't remember him being the god of drama. Maybe this universe was a bit different after all?

"My father is Poseidon" Percy said nonchalantly

So they got the cool parents and I'm stuck with a drunkard. Why must the universe look down on me.

"Well it's probably better that you have a parent like Mr. D, if you had a parent like ours, you probably wouldn't be alive right now" Thalia said, almost as if she could read what I was thinking

"Children of the big three like us may seem normal but since our power is abnormally strong, the scent we give off is extremely enticing to monsters. Most die off never even knowing they were children of gods." She continued

"Speaking of gods, has there been any word from them?" Percy asked, as if trying to change the topic.

"No, it seems Zeus has ordered them to stay in the fight against Typhon. I know Lady Artemis and Athena would help us, but they can't afford to leave the fight." Thalia answered bitterly

"So then we're on our own to defend Olympus, damnit..." Percy said angrily

"Can the gods not help us?" I asked. It would surely end early if we could at least receive their support.

"Unfortunately they can't, they're fighting another threat on their own right now. And..... even if they weren't, I doubt they'd ever help us" Thalia answered, now seemingly angry as well

"It's always like this, we mean nothing to them, we're nothing but replaceable pawns" Percy ended the conversation as such

So that's what it was, the children of the gods held importance in name only. In reality, we were nothing but tools for the work of the gods.

How Ironic for me

But.... That won't be the case for long, I'll make sure of it.

Turning a god into a tool, it seems interesting enough.

Unfortunately I couldn't do the fight scene just yet, so I apologize for that. I needed to set the plot before hand at the very minimum before they're off fighting monsters. I also just remembered Ayanokouji probably didn't know much about Greek Mythology as when he was talking to Chabashira about the play, he said "So that's what Icarus is about" so I assume this means he isn't too familiar with it. I had to change up what the future would look like because of it. I hope you guys know I actually have no set plot, I'm just writing it as I go lmao.

I will keep updating for as long as my motivation lasts. I'm actually thinking of writing another fan fic, one where Ike is actually the one pulling the strings lmfao. He gets clowned on a lot but I bet it'd be real surprising if it came out that he was manipulating Ayanokouji to manipulate others. Well, just a thought.

Nik claimed Ayanokouji even though he was on my wishlist, and then had the audacity to ask if he could buy C2 off of me for a measly 1k Kakera??? You buggin bro
