What exactly are emotions?
The American Psychological Association defines them as complex reaction patterns. They believe that emotions are how people deal with matters they find personally significant.
If that's the case, does that mean this situation is significant to me as a human? The death of comrades illicit many reactions. Sadness, regret, and anger.
This emotion im feeling, I've classified as anger. But I don't particularly understand why I'm experiencing it
I've never felt it before; I've never had a need to feel it. Was it the death of Connor? Was it the fact that I was spared? Perhaps it's anger at the universe for putting me in such a situation?
It doesn't matter, I suppose it never did
These emotions cloud my thoughts, they make me think irrationally.
