"You don't seem too nervous"

"Oh...... it just doesn't feel real yet, perhaps I'll feel it when the battle starts" I answered Thalia

"Hmm.... once Percy gets here it'll start, be prepared" she said, and began to walk away

"I will" I called to her

We were currently sitting near a reservoir in the Central Park. While late at night, the city glowed. Maybe the lights were on automatic timers.

I counted my arrows and tossed my spear from side to side. I wonder what type of expression I'll have when the battle finally erupts. Will it be an anxious expression? Or maybe a blood lusted one? I wouldn't know

"They're coming" I looked up and saw Thalia pointing North with an arrow.

She was talking to Percy and a group of people, though loud enough for anyone to hear.

"One of my scouts reported their army crossing the Harlem River..... it was too big to hold back" she said

"We'll hold them at the park. Grover, are you read?" Percy asked

"As ready as we can be. If my nature spirits can hold them back, it's definitely here" he answered

"We will hold them back!" Called a voice from the back. It belonged to another Satyr, an overweight and middle aged looking one.

"Leneus?" Percy asked

"Why are you surprised my boy?! I must be here to lead the Satyrs, I can't let an outcast like Grover do it himself!" The Satyr named Leneus said

So Satyr were a civil type of people. From their conversation I can assume they've grouped up and made ranks. Apart from this, Grover seemed to have been exiled or perhaps disliked.

Maybe I spent too much time thinking about that, because when I looked up the group of people with Percy dispersed.

"Alright, you'll be going the Hephaestus cabin. The rest of your cabin and siblings are over there... or Well.... sibling." Connor said while walking to me

Before he could reach me though, an arrow was sent flying; missing him by a few inches and hitting a tree behind him.

We both looked up and saw Thalia lowering her bow

"What was that for?!" Connor screamed

"Oh calm down Drama Queen, it didn't hit you, right?" She stated smugly

"That's not the point here!" He shouted back

"In any case, Wannabe is coming with us. Im probably the best person to teach him to use his bow correctly" she said, ignoring his words

"What? I'm not sure that's a great idea. I mean you and your hunters are known for hating men" Connor said

"It's fine, it'll just be me teaching him. As long as my hunters aren't near him he should be fine...." she said

"Wouldn't that put him in a dangerous position?" Connor asked

"Are you saying I can't protect one measly person?" Thalia asked back, grabbing an arrow from her quiver

"You know what? That seems like a perfect idea, take the kid with you; I'm sure it'll go great! Alright see you later Mike, have fun!" Connor said as he ran away

I've noticed this more and more, but Connor is terrible at confrontations. Though he seems like a troublemaker as well, really not a good combination.

"Alright Wannabe grab your things, I'm taking you to your station"

"Uhmmm, before we continue; can you change the nickname?" I asked
