Energy surged through my body as I slowly stood back up. I looked at my arm as I picked up my dropped spear. Violet aura appeared to surround my entire being

I no longer felt the pain I had experienced before, instead it was replaced by strength I had never felt. To put it simply, I felt like a god

This would obviously only come at a cost though. I had sacrificed a sane mind, and as such these coherent thoughts would last only a bit longer

"The aura of an Olympian..... you've borrowed the power of a god" Kronos stroked his chin

I wanted to respond, but painful palpitations in my head clouded my thoughts

"I would have preferred to have saved this for later-" He began, as he materialized a scythe into his open palm

"-however it seems I'll be in real danger if I don't take this seriously. Rejoice child, for I shall use my true power against you. Tell me your name, as a Titan of pride I will make sure your death is honorable" he finished, his presence becoming a crushing pressure to me

My name? What was my name again? I don't remember. My head felt like it was going to burst, all my thoughts were muddy

Ah, there's something- or rather someone I remember, a good friend of mine. His name was.... What was it again?

I could picture his face clearly, and his actions were even clearer. He who fought desperately to save me, even when the odds were stacked against us

I remember he called me something

Something he called me before we were friends, it was....

"X"

"... Whether you intended that as a joke or not, I shall write it over your gravestone!" He shouted as he swung his axe down, my left hand instinctively raised my spear

Except.... it was no longer a spear but a thyrsus, I had no time to think on it though since the weapons collided and my vision went completely black

"...ke up"

".....up"

I opened my tired eyes and was met with complete white

There was no other way to explain it than just that, white

There was nothing else. No floor. No sky. Everything was just blank.

"If you've awoken, you'd do well to get up" commanded a voice right above my head

I finally noticed the face of a beautiful girl standing right over me. Well, not exactly standing.

"Please do so in a quick manner, my legs tire" she said

"Ah, sorry about that" I raised my head from her thighs

"I appreciate it" she said

I didn't understand the situation, but she didn't appear to be here to harm me

"....where am I?"

"As much as I'd like to say this is my domain, it's much more akin to your own"

"Domain?"

"I suppose to you humans, it can be compared to the deepest part of your mind"

Humans?

"....so then you must be?"

"My heart aches, we've already met before. Can't you remember?"

No, I'm sure I'd remember seeing someone like her.  I searched through my memory and couldn't remember
