"Stop it." I say sternly as Kai's flinging food at me.

"Stop it." He mimics me.

"You bitch."

"You bitch."

"I don't sound like that you weirdo."

"I don't sound like that you weirdo."

"Draco, you alright?" I ask ignoring Kai, Draco's seemed down ever since we left potions class since Harry got the lucky potion thing.

"Yeah I'm fine." He says.

"You sure?"

"Yes." He snaps.

"I'm just asking." I say, I feel a hand in my shoulder and look up to see Tom.

"Hi love." He kisses my forehead sitting down beside me.

"Hey." I say taking a bite of mashed potatoes.

"You alright?" He asks rubbing my back. I move closer to the table to make his hand drop.

"Yeah I'm fine," I smile. "Where's Amara?"

"Oh uh I think she's hanging out with other Slytherins?" I nod slowly.

"Anyway I gotta go." I say standing up but he grabs my arm.

"You barely ate anything."

"I'm not hungry, and I need to talk to Rox."

"Kat, is it back?"

"No, just because I'm not eating doesn't mean it's back." I roll my eyes, I know he's talking about my eating disorder. I had it in year 4 after my mother passed, I rarely ate but I've gotten better.

"Alright, see you later?"

"I'll see."

"Love you." He smiles.

"Mhm." I say walking away.

MALAKAI

I stuff a chicken leg into my mouth as Tom speaks up.

"Kai." He whispers crossing his arms on the table.

"What?" I ask with my mouth full, he looks at me with a weird look.

"Hurry up and finish your food, I want to ask you something. Preferably without food in your mouth." I give him a sarcastic smile.

"Alright what?" I ask once I swallowed the chicken.

"Kat."

"What about her?"

"She's acting weird." He says.

"She's the same to me." I shrug.

"No, like to me I mean."

"How so?"

"She didn't say I love you back, and she asked about the new girl."

"Ah I see, she's jealous."

"Jealous? Why the fuck would she be jealous?" He asks, confusion filling his face.

"You've been spending lots of time with Amara, and you've been ignoring Kat, even us. Not to mention you didn't come to hangout night last night."

"I was sleeping."

"It was in our dorm dumbass." I say.

"Oh, I meant in Draco's room."

"He never said anything about you being in his dorm," I turn to Draco, looking depressed as ever.

"Draco."

"Mhm?" He asks looking at me.

"Was Tom in your dorm last night?" He shakes his head.

"See?" I turn back to Tom.

"If you weren't in Draco and Blaise's dorm or ours, then where the fuck were you?"

He stays silent looking at the table.

That's when I connect the dots.

"Tom." I whisper.

"Tell me you didn't."

Silent.

"Are you serious right now?"

"I'm sorry okay?"

"Sorry doesn't fucking cut it, why would you do that to her. She's done nothing to you." I say getting up and leaving the Great Hall.

Tom catches up with me, he grabs my arm turning me around.

"It was a mistake, please don't tell her."

"Fuck you Tom." I say getting up in his face.

"I'll tell her, just please don't."

"THAT DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER YOU STILL DID IT!" I yell punching him in the face causing him to stumble back holding his jaw.

"Kai, Kai please. Just don't tell her."

"Fuck you," I spit at him. "I'm telling her, go ahead call me a snitch. She doesn't deserve you."

"And what, she deserves you?"

"I never said that, I already have a girlfriend but yeah. I'd treat her much better than your sorry ass ever did." I leave him there.
