"Ninetail's Whip!!"

I manipulated the flames to form nine whips attached to my hands and slashed at the large robot making them surround it. I used my quirk to increase the speed and force of the whips and pulled at them. The robot got sliced in multiple places and exploded.

I realized nothing held me up any longer and fell from my height. I kept falling with my body flatly oriented against the air, facing the ground. It's gonna be really tough and I barely had strength left, but I have to use it all to slow my landing. I might even faint but I have no other choice.

Before I could use my quirk, I made eye contact with the red-headed girl. It looked like she knew what to do and was planning something. So I left it in her hands.

Before I collided, two large hands caught me and lowered me gently to the ground. 

"JUST ONE MINUTE LEFT!"

My partner crouched down beside me and asked if I'm okay, "I'm fine, just slightly exhausted, and my head's pounding."

She felt my forehead's temperature with her back-to-normal-size-hands and jumped back, "Oh my gosh, you're burning up. Is it a side effect of your quirk?"

I nodded, "Are you fine? You're not injured, right? And the other people?" I asked, sitting up and crossing my legs, I was feeling well enough to sit properly. I decided I won't be able to do anything in 1 minute and I had already collected enough points...I think.

"Yeah we're fine. You should be more worried about yourself though, you seemed to have over-exerted yourself. I'm Itsuka Kendo by the way, you can call me Kendo" She replied smiling widely.

The four people walked up to us and thanked me and Kendo. They also introduced themselves. Their names were Hirojima Takashi, Neito Monoma, Daichi Kenji and Kai Asahi.(a/n. Don't ask me why they're all boys, even idk lol, I noticed after I wrote the names)

All of them started showering me with compliments on my attacks and skills, I was a little embarrassed and shyly thanked them. I could hear everyone around me whispering and looking at me in awe. It was a mix of responses.

"Wow that attack was awesome! Did you see that? And the other red-haired girl, she also ran into the danger and shielded the four boys" "She seems powerful enough to be a sidekick already!" "She's so strong! She was from the sludge villain attack from 10 months ago!" "yeah, I wonder why she didn't get in through recommendations" "Wasn't she the one who took away 10 robots before the zero pointer showed up?" "I was just about to finally hit a robot when her flames interrupted." "Ugh" "She's just one of those people that think they can assert dominance just because their quirks are powerful." "Her quirk is so rad!" "She prolly just wanted to show off her powers earlier by taking on that robot, there was no need to even do that. It's a zero pointer" "as if she didn't gain enough points"

I turned redder from the comments and look down trying to hide my face, as if my high body temperature wasn't enough make me red. I didn't want to get in through recommendations because I wanted to get in through merit just like everybody else. I was already lucky enough to be trained by the no. 3 pro hero Hawks. I didn't want to push it further.

"By the way you didn't tell us your name," I heard a guy ask, I think his name was Kai Asahi. I quickly looked up.

"Oh I'm so sorry, I'm Rin Midoriya, nice to meet all of you-"
